"I had just had a tree removed from my front lawn that was already uneven and pitted in several places. The estimate was fair, they were on time and did a great job. Several neighbors have stopped to tell me how great the front lawn looks!"

"This company is the perfect example we all need to see that represents what the true meaning of "work ethic" is. I contacted them, got a quick response, and Johnny & his team arrived the next day all ready to work. They thought it was going to be an easy in/out job so they could move on to the next scheduled one (it was Sunday)...HOWEVER, it didn't work out that way. My precious ZEN tree had very visible termite damage and removal was urgent. It wasn't going to be the simple branch trimming that we thought. They got right on it and removed it safely. While some were doing that, others were in the front of the condo trimming and planting. They cleaned up everything (looked better than the inside of my home). WOW, just plain awesome work coordination. I had TEN companies come and look at this job, and NONE noted the termites. I just thought the tree was old, but they showed me what to look for. CJ's is the best; then, of course, there's Johnny (the owner)...what a guy!"

"Wonderful experience with pool installation....all the way from the sales/design to the installation team/work crew. Dan Lynch's design breathtaking. Tyler Davis, project manager, was always on top of everything. Josh was an absolute workhorse, showing up every single day and took care of every detail and request. Entire team extremely professional throughout the entire process. Could not have asked for anything more. Would rehire in a heartbeat!"

"They came when they said they were going to come and they did a good job with the lawn. They cut things that I didn't think could be cut and they trimmed them all. The owner was the guy that we dealt with. Unfortunately, he was very pushy. It had to be his way or we couldn't do it like I asked him to, which was every other week. He said no. He said because it would get too big in between. I find it problematic when people immediately say that they have huge lawn because I do and how much they charge and how much were getting a really good deal for something. I don't really care. I am just trying to get the best deal possible. That is why I stopped using them. If you can put up with the attitude, it was good service. If we had dealt with someone else who was a little more laid back, we probably would still be using them."

"Have had great success with using Lebanon Lawn for bi-weekly lawn mowing, since the beginning of their business operations. Crews have always been professional and punctual. One-time yard clean-up, to remove large weed and brush accumulation along fence lines and creek, went smoothly. Yard is now maintainable with the use of a weed trimmer."

"The service has been very good. The owner came out right after I called them. He looked over the yard. He had someone out in a day or so to cut the grass. They are very pleasant and do a very good job. I have been happy with their service so far."

FAQs for lawn care aeration projects in Chilo, OH

Aeration is the best way to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant. Annual aeration makes your lawn more breathable and helps nutrients reach the roots, improving water absorption and reducing puddles where pests might breed. However, timing matters. It's best to avoid aerating during droughts, extreme heat, or if your lawn is battling weeds. A local pro can help you determine the ideal time for your yard.

Most lawns benefit from annual aeration to keep them healthy and thriving. If your lawn has a lot of thatch buildup—more than half an inch—you might need to aerate twice a year for a couple of years to get it under control. But if your soil isn't compacted and there's minimal thatch, you might be able to skip a year.

When you hire a professional lawn care company, a standard 10,000-square-foot lawn takes about 30 minutes to aerate. Uneven, sloped, or especially large lawns can take significantly more time. So, depending on your lawn's size and condition, the process can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours.

The best time to aerate your lawn is during the spring or fall when your grass is actively growing and the soil has enough moisture. Aerating once in the spring and once in the fall yields the best results. Avoid aerating when your lawn is dormant or right after heavy rain when the soil is too wet—that can make aeration less effective.

Even if your lawn looks healthy, aeration can still be beneficial. If you have good growth, proper drainage, and little thatch, you might not need to aerate right away. Regular aeration helps water and nutrients reach the roots, keeping your lawn strong over time. Keep an eye on your lawn's condition to decide when it might need aeration.
