"I'd used TruGreen in the past is why I chose them for my lawn care. I was originally set up on 4-6 week intervals to accomodate my financial needs. Everything was going as planned until I got a fertilization/weed control treatment & aeration in Sep within a week apart. I didn't realize what happened until I received the bill and contacted them to report a duplicated charge. I was told one of the charges included an aeration treatment and was a one time application indicated in the contract. This was not my understanding and must have been in very small print I could not read. When first asked about doing aeration, it was agreed to revisit in the fall. I was not asked, told or suggested this was being done so I got hit with that bill. Customer Service Rep was useless. Her resolution was to send someone out when I mentioned the service was incomplete since the gate was locked and the technician did not have access to my yard."

"Inconsistent mowing schedule.  We'd call Micah when it was over two weeks since they came and our lawn was way overgrown.  He'd tell us he'd get someone out to mow on a specific day and the crew never showed up.  This happened several times, but they'd get to it eventually.  This season, it started off the same way (inconsistent mowing, overgrown lawn).    The two times we did get our lawn services in 2014, the crew left lawn clippings all over our patio and flower beds (they are supposed to blow that off).   We emailed/called him and said if service didn't improve we would cancel.   We received no emails or returned calls, no apology when we actually cancelled the service.  Poor customer service, the only thing that would show up on time was our bill.  We are much happier with our new lawn service.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"This company is excellent. Sam McDowell is very professional and considerate to his customers. My questions by phone call and emails were answered quickly. We had several delays in scheduling because I was uncertain of the material I wanted to use and the final design. He was helpful in recommending what would look the best, was patient with me and we finally got it scheduled. The team was polite and prompt and came with tools to handle unexpected situations such as the concrete slab which was unusually difficult to remove. They worked very neatly around my property by taking care of grassy areas and by hauling away all debris. The job was finished on time and at the estimated price. The patio is beautiful and neighbors have asked for his name."

"I signed up for three visits and as far as I know, I only got two. I think they got two much of a response on the deal with Angie's List. I'm not going to worry about it. The lawn did look better after both visits. I was expecting a third, but it's no big deal. The price was excellent. I did call them about the second visit and they did call me. I might give them another try, they did get over their head. I can't recommend them to anyone else."
