"They left a big mess after the job, they did not follow direction/measurements or what i provided for guidance. He would barely provide me a written bid, and what was provided did not provide any detail of how they arrived at the cost for materials or hours. The end result looks completely unprofessional, they have wonderful pictures on the website and Rubin sold me on the pictures he shared with me too and kept calling and texting about giving him the job. He was anxious to start the job and seemed cheaper than the other bid . He did great work on the pavers, but the retaining walls for the garden beds leaves a lot to be desired. they are uneven, they left sod in the flower beds, which I had to demand that they remove, but yet the grass is growing back now, there is tons of rocks that was left behind, inside and out of the beds, and on a couple of the beds instead of rounding corners they awkwardly squared them, it looks bad. One bed has a mound of dirt and rock spread out in front of it. They threw a couple of grass seeds on this hoping it will fill in, has not. It looks horrible! I tried to contact him to come back and fix things and he blew me off. I do not recommend this company, in fairness it maybe just this particular employee and his crew, but they did not do a nice job deserving a 5 star review and i won't use them in the future as i originally planned for a water feature. Super disappointed and ripped off! I wish i could upload the pictures and you all could see for yourself what a horrible job was done."

Mike helped me go at my own pace so I could upgrade my property on a budget when I was ready. Finding a landscaper out in Sandy isn’t very easy as there’s not very many options. "We cannot say enough good things about Al Vazquez Landscape Maintenance. Our 3500 sq ft front yard was taken over by ivy and clematis vines for the last decade. We hired Al Vazquez Landscape Maintenance to clear the whole front yard, down to the ground of weeds, shrubs and dead trees. Al's crew worked for 5 whole days, with Al himself climbing onto our garage roof to clear vines & trim an ornamental cherry tree. The crew had the best work ethic, never on their phones, and always on time for each long day of hard work. The job included removal of all debris and then spreading anti-germination product to deter grow-back of the invasive species. His bid was reasonable, and we also are hiring him to spread bark nuggets in the front, side and back yards. We are SO PLEASED with the job and would highly recommend Al Vazquez Landscape Maintenance to anyone who needs a hard working lawn crew for any job. See our before and after pictures. "I hired them to build a 16x20 ft paver patio in August of 2022, by the end of April 2023 the project manager told me there is not much more they could do to make the patio better and I had to pay them the full amount. Even though they claim to have many years of experience, the low quality of craftsmanship does not reflect their years of experience. The patio is not square and there are many visible gaps in between pavers making it an eye sore and everyone that comes to visit is always surprised to hear the amount of money I payed for the project. It has been a very expensive lesson learned for me"
