"If you are looking for Landscape Company that is very knowledgeable and professional then look no further than Scapes Landscaping Company. My Husband and I were extremely impressed with the work ethics of all employees that have worked on our Drainage issues as well as the Zoysia Sod placement in our yard. This company not only provides good quality in their workmanship but are very responsive and on time. Scapes Landscaping also takes the time to answer any questions that you may have and will provide open communication. The owners, Rick and Karen Bonds are quick to respond. I definitely would recommend Scapes Landscaping Company. We are totally satisfied with all work done by Scapes Landscaping Company. They are professional, polite, and work very hard, so give Rick and Karen Bonds a call with Scapes Landscaping and let them help you with all your Landscaping needs. "

PennyEarned, LLC/Concrete Techologies is a 30+ year old, family owned business. We have offered various services over the past years but out main focus is "outdoor areas" We create living spaces out doors. Beautiful stamped concrete patios with meandering boarders to give the regal appearance of simulated stone surfaces. We also offer pavers to add variety. Outdoor kitchen units coordinated with fireplaces and fire pits. Water features and sandstone topped tables. We do much retrofit and redesign of existing swimming pools. We reconstruct outdated pool areas and make repairs to the pools themselves. We replace aged driveways with new, better reinforced and jointed ones that will endure for much longer than their predecessors. Most of all, everything we do, we do to the best of our ability. We enjoy our work and our creations and we long to work with you on your project.

"Carson was recommended to me by a realtor. Initially every thing was great, he was quick to respond and took the job on short notice. We walked him through the property and explained what we wanted and he said it was no problem. After three weeks he said the job was done. The job included clearing and leveling the land for a house, compacting the dirt and testing, creating the driveway , clearing any trees that could fall on the house, and thinning the remaining trees to give a park like atmosphere. He did not do the compaction or testing, the driveway is only suitable for construction equipment, he did no tree clearing or thinning as asked. We spoke to him about it he lied to me and said he never agreed to any of that. Would never recommend him to anyone."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Clanton, AL

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
