"Local Professionals come through: I had a water flow problem on the front center part of my roof that resulted in some of the sheathing under the overhang to dry rot. I also had a rain gutter with damage caused by a leaning tree. I called Roofmasters for a free quote. Johnathon explained the process and answered all my questions. Aaron arrived on-time for the quote on 8/27/2018. He explained what caused the dry rot and answered my questions regarding concerns I had about other areas of my roof. He put my mind at rest – telling me that my roof appeared to be in good shape except for the area that brought him there that day. I received the written quote on 8/31/2018 for the roof and gutter repairs and scheduled the work to be done on 9/14/2018. They called 30 minutes before arrival as promised. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves well. They even replaced a couple cracked tiles at no additional charge. They are a local company (Suisun City, CA) that obviously still takes pride in their work. This seems to be a trait that is in short supply these days. I’ll definitely call them again the next time I need help with my roof."

"We got the estimate and gave the go ahead easily but then we didn't hear from them for about 2 months. I reached out to them to find out the status and they had just emailed me to let me know that the skylight had arrived and they were ready to install, We set a date. When the guys arrived to install, they stayed for about 30 minutes and left without saying a word to my husband; they returned and finished working. They left without saying a word to my husband to let him know they had completed the job and without picking up the payment. WOW, talk about unprofessional. I had to call and talk to the project manager to find out if they were done or not. They also didn't do any fixing of the sheetrock which we thought they would do given the cost but was told later that they don't do that. I had to call to inform them that their workers didn't pick up the payment so i had to mail it to them."

"It went just as he said it would. They started on a Tuesday with a subcontractor doing the tear-off, then his crew got the new roof on in just a few days. He had another subcontractor install gutters the next week, and it took a couple more weeks of short-term work. Jim inspected the gutters and called the sub crew back in to finish things to Jim's satisfaction, then the County inspector found a couple more things. All in all it took a month, but the actual work took about a week. We got 4 bids, all from top-rated Angie's List contractors, and Jim's was the lowest by a few hundred dollars. We have no regrets with that decision. The bonus was that someone earlier on his schedule cancelled, so rather than having the work done in October or November, he did it in August. We are very happy with the whole process."

"This is the second time we’ve used Joe and his team for a remodeling project. The first was a full kitchen relocation/remodel, restroom addition and restructuring the great room layout. This project was our master bath remodel, and his team member Daniel took the lead on the project. Per usual, Joe and Daniel didn’t disappoint! Attention to detail was phenomenal, professionalism was top notch, and the job was completed with permits to code. They gutted the entire bathroom, moved plumbing, moved ceiling heights, replaced a window, adding lighting, installed new vanities and fixtures and completed a full bathroom re-tile. It’s rare to find a great contractor, and one you would invite into your home for more projects time in and time again. Just be mindful that some projects may not be completed on time, but this is due to attention to detail, and Joe always making sure that every part of the job is completed to the highest standard. "These folks know their business!  Compared with the two other estimates I sought, the ACS crew understood the source of the problems, saw alternative and best solutions, knew their materials, and were on the job and finished in short order.  The added bonus was that they took initiative to check out the entire roof of many peaks and valleys, corrected other minor problems, and cleaned out all the valleys and crickets that can hold water when cluttered with debris.  Mark Tate, the owner, personally climbed all over the roof and made the thorough inspection and provided documentation and clear photos of all trouble spots. Over the two or three days of work, he stayed on top of the job through his very efficient and amiable employees, returned to consider alternative solutions to the condensation arrangement and we settled on a solution better than the original, and he made a final inspection as well.   <br> <br>Considering a complex roof, some necessary creative invention to solve the runoff problems, and the range of issues to be dealt with, I felt the price was reasonable.
