"It went well! Rick the owner, came out to look at our roof and give us a bid. We also had two or three other companies to also give us a bid. Rick was the only one who really understood how to do the job properly which included changing and adding new soffit vents which would improve the airflow in the attic. His crew has been with him many years so they knew what they were doing. And, Rick was on site at least once a day. He was always available when I had a concern or question. Our roof looks great, his crew did a great job, and I like the idea that this is a small company where he is in charge and only has one crew going at a time."

"Agent came out, surveyed the roof, and measured what it would take to replace. Showed current styles available and provided a price after my selection.  Agreed upon a date.  The crew came at 7:30 AM and finished about 8:05 PM  Agent said he'd do it in 1 day and he did.  Neighbor couldn't believe they did it all in 1 day, whereas most new roofs take 3 to 4 days.  Clean-up was very good and delivered on what they said they would do. <br />"

"AAA+++ Just Fabulous! I met Pro Tech Senior Project Manager Nathan Knopp at my home after a terrible hail and wind storm struck my community on Lake Pulaski in Buffalo, MN this summer. Nathan was professional, courteous, respectful, fast, efficient and very easy to work with during the entire process of the work that Pro Tech did for us - Damage Assessment, Insurance Claim Submission / Estimate / Approval, Roof Shingle and Gutter Selection, Scheduling Work, Managing the Work Process and Follow-Thru. As a result, we were able to get our roof repair expedited which suited us perfectly. Pro Tech is a Platinum Partner with Owens Corning which means we were able to do a wholesale level upgrade on our shingles to TrueDefinition Duration Designer Level shingles and we decided on the Merlot pattern/color. Our materials and crew showed up as promised and the work was done fast and efficient and passed inspection with the City of Buffalo easily. With Nathan Knopp's guidance and support, we were also able to upgrade our gutter guard to a style/manufacturer that is better suited/engineered to our steep roof pitch for our designer lake home. I have to say that working with Nathan Knopp and Pro Tech was easy and very informative and my wife and I feel that we came away from this experience with not only an upgraded roof and gutters, but with a lot more understanding of how the roof and gutter system in our home works to protect our home from the elements. "Following a storm that left hail damage to our roof, we contacted Black Bear Builders. While working with Stuart to choose roofing materials we decided to update the entire exterior of our house. This included siding, gutters, and garage doors. Stuart provided many roofing and siding samples for us to choose from and was quick to provide additional samples when requested. Stuart and his team were very friendly and professional. The quality of the work is top notch. Stuart was able to accommodate our special demands, such as lighting for the address, additional electrical for the Christmas lights, decorative brackets, and the dimensions of the complementary siding. Stuart came back multiple times after the roof was completed to check for nails in the drive, shrubs, and yard. He showed the same concern for our satisfaction after the siding was completed as well. It looks like we live in a new house now. It has been eight months since the siding was installed and we still get that feeling of satisfaction every time we pull up to our home. "It went very well. Two engineers came and looked at the outside of the house first, then the inside/basement/foundation. They educated me on how old houses settle, and what kinds of settling are of concern and what kinds are just normal and nothing to worry about. They gave me a list of things to look for and keep an eye on, but overall we were all pleasantly surprised that a 133 year old home was in such good shape. They also came up to the attic and looked at some roof concerns, and took a look at a detached garage to give me some information on whether or not a roof expansion would be possible with the current structural supports. They answered all of my questions and explained things in a way I understood; they offered information above and beyond what I thought to ask about that was useful. One thing I liked (but my realtor wasn't a fan of, tbh) was their friendly, folksy way of talking and relating to me, while at the same time offering professional opinions that were helpful to me."
