"I had received quotes from numerous companies prior to my move including one that was almost double Great Nation, several similarly priced, and one about half as much with varying promises of when they'd pick up and deliver and of course nothing was guaranteed. Scott at Great Nation (scott@greatnationmoving.com) told me he would work with me to stick to my timeline and keep me informed; he stayed true to his word. The movers were on time to pick up and very efficient. There was a slight delay of a few hours at delivery but it was an unforeseen situation and again they were incredibly professional and efficient. Honestly could not ask for more or better service. "Extremely pleased. There approach to long distance moving is the best idea. They leased a vehicle specifically for my move from Virginia to Mississippi. I wasn’t a part of a tractor trailer load carrying multiple families furniture. Because of this they arrived when they said would in three days. The crew unloaded our furniture, dropped off the truck near an airport and flew home. It’s brilliant. They packaged my pictures and other delicate items with such care nothing got even a scratch. The only problem I encountered was having to get rid of 15 large bags stuffed with all the packing paper I was left with after I unwrapped and unpacked everything. They don’t recycle in the area I moved to so it was a problem but one I was pleased to have had. Thank you Call the Movers for making something I was totally panicked about go so smoothly."

"I contacted American Moving based on the reviews here on Angies List; they were one of three companies I contacted. Mike came out to the house to look things over and talk through the details of my move requirements; most of the bids were all virtual, this personal touch did make a difference. The price he quoted ended up being right in the middle of the other bids and I went with them. Moving day was scheduled on a day that was calling for TERRIBLE weather and Mike was able to accommodate my request to move the date up by a day which was perfect. The movers were super punctual, super professional and so helpful as some of the "where to put things" decisions were not all worked out. They were patient and also so pleasant to work with. It took 10 hours for the entire move and it went flawlessly in my opinion. I would use American Moving & Storage again and would highly recommend them."
