"YA Tree Service was very prompt in coming out to do an estimate for a very tall pine tree that started to partially uproot on a Saturday. They were able to do the estimate on Sunday and remove the tree on Monday. We also had them remove 3 additional trees. The pine was leaning over a neighbor's property and a shed on it and stood over a section of shade garden in our yard. Great care was taken to avoid damage to the garden and the shed. Their prices were very reasonable, the communications between myself and YA was prompt and thorough, and the job was done in a way that met all my expectations. I would use them again."

I ended up understanding a lot more about the process of having the trees removed and the stump of the oak removed. He explained that for safety a crane would be used, parked on the driveway and reaching over the house to the tree. The stump removal would require their contacting Miss Utility which would take 1 to 2 weeks The work was scheduled for the next Monday and everything happened as explained. 11 days later the stump was removed and ground."

They cut down a walnut tree that had limbs that were hitting our neighbors house and they also cut down a giant branch off of our oak tree that was going over the street. "We had lost two large oak trees on our property and had five other mature oak trees with large "widow makers" high up. The dead trees would be felled, but no stump grinding was required. Four Angie's List tree services and 1 non-Angie's List service were contacted for quotes. All but one made an appointment to come out to our home, evaluate the task, and provide a quote. We selected Gordon Frazier Tree Service for our job. Gordon responded promptly and came out within a few days to give us a quote. We found Gordon to be very professional, easy to work with, and made good suggestions that helped to lower the cost of the job, which was a very competitive one. We liked that Mr. Frazier would be on-site and oversee the agreed upon work the entire time. Our dead trees and several of the trees with dead limbs were near our buried septic tank and sewer lines running to the septic field. Other tree services were still interested in using large bucket trucks as much as possible, while avoiding these areas. But Gordon Frazier eased our concerns by not using any heavy bucket trucks. Instead each tree was climbed by an individual using ropes who would remove limbs and trunk in pieces, tying the larger pieces to ropes so they could be gently lowered to the ground. The job was completed in one day. Overall they did an excellent job and we are very happy with their work. They arrived at the appointed time, performed all the agreed upon work as quoted, removed limbs and branches by chipping them, and cleaned up afterwards. We definitely would hire them again, and recommend them to everyone."

Their foreman arrived on the same day (on a weekend) and gave me a quote to remove the dead tree as well as some brush in the general area.
