The incremental cost of protecting the additional panel with the parallel transfer switch arrangement was a fraction the cost of an additional generator and transfer switch. Throughout the job, Doug and his crew were awesome. I am a terrible snoop who enjoys technology, so I hung around just watching and learning. They didn't seem to mind my presence and were friendly and informative through out the install. Every aspect of the job was 100% top-notch. Doug also managed to under bid his nearest competitor on every component and aspect of the job, including the annual maintenance contract, which I deemed to be worth the $$$. He was very nice and insisted on cleaning up after himself in the basement even though I told him I'd take care of it.
