"At the onset of the project, I sat down with Don and went over the plans and my expectations. I am an automotive engineer with 30 years of experience and I was really impressed with Don and his amount of experience, building skills, and extensive knowledge of construction techniques. What really sold me was when Don offered to text me photos of the project along the way on my cell phone. We collaborated on issues when there were questions. It was almost like I was right there, even though I was 400 miles away. Don really built us a quality home, strong enough to handle the heaviest snow loads in the snow belt of the lower peninsula. He has a great business sense and the people skills to keep his crews in line. Most of all, Don seems to really care about the projects that he works on. He once went the extra mile to plow our heavily snowed driveway just so I could get into our new house to review some of his work. He finished our shell with many extra personal touches that we added along the way. He made the changes we wanted and didn't try to talk us out of them just because it would be easier. All this was done in a very timely manner. We would highly recommend Don for his innovation, quality, cost, character, and timeliness. This guy is a real winner! We plan to use him for more upcoming projects."

"I contracted Marc Todd himself and set up appointment for him to come over to measure and view the proposed project to provide me with an estimate. It was a little confusing at first, as he has a brother doing business as Jeff Todd Concrete. <br /> Marc Todd was very prompt, and came out the very next day after I made contact. I was very comfortable with him right from the first meeting. He was very kind, professional and just plain and simple, A VERY NICE MAN !! He listened well to what I wanted to achieve as far as an end result which also included troubleshooting an ongoing water problem. This water problem had not been solved by our last concrete contractor. Marc was very much more knowledgeable, and seemed to effortlessly troubleshoot and ultimately FIX the water problem. <br /> I asked him for references of prior jobs, and he gladly took me right to the places of other concrete pours that he had done. I was extremely impressed with not only the amount of concrete work he had poured in my area and the excellent looking work he had preformed, but was most impressed with how well liked he was by his previous customers. All of them greeted him like he was a longtime friend or family member. I knew when you have that kind of rapport with people you can't go wrong. And I was right as I am now one of his satisfied customers that truly look forward to running into him and getting a chance to visit. <br /> I had four estimates done all together, and his was not the cheapest , but it was no the most expensive either. His price was within reason when compared to the others. I feel that I actually got a much better job than I would have going with someone else for sure. You get what you pay for and in this case I feel like I got a bit more. <br /> He did an <strong><em>excellent</em></strong> job on my project and more. It is gorgeous. He actually came up with a few better design solutions than I originally had planned. AND NO MORE WATER PROBLEM. He stayed within in his original estimate, even though he made a upgraded change that would be better for my situation. He completed the work on time as well and worked hard at "fitting me into his schedule" as I had a party planned that I needed it completed by. He was TERRIFIC to work with. The best contractor I have EVER done business with actually. By the time he finished his job our whole family just loved him !! A GREAT PERSON that really cares !! <br /> I will be using him again next summer for another project we are now planning. I have recommended him since to some friends of mine, and they are just as pleased with their whole experience and with MARC TODD CONCRETE AND MARC TODD AS WELL. "We drew up an idea of what we were thinking about and he took our idea and brought it to life.   We are so happy with it and so our our animals.  It's been a few years old now and it holding up just great and I am glad we agreed on a metal roof as he suggested and a gutter system. <br />"

"They arrived everyday just as they promised. They were hardworking and they cleaned up everyday after themselves. Mr. Frank Marr was pleasant as were his crew. They kept us updated on their progress and on the next steps in the process. Our new and improved concrete driveway is very nice. <br /> As for the removal of the old driveway they only used the jack-hammer near the house which kept the noise to a minimum. For the majority of the drive they used a and quot;bobcatand quot; to lift the slabs and then scooped up the broken pieces and loaded them to be hauled away. They made fast work of removing all the old concrete and culverts. <br /> The entire process only took 3 1/2 days (we have a very large circular driveway). Of course, we still have at least 7 more days before we can drive on it since we are waiting for it to cure/dry. <br /> If we were to have more concrete work for anything, we would hire Mr. Marr/American Concrete again. <br />"

"From start to finish, Dick (owner) and his entire crew were top notch. Level One went above and beyond to make sure our investment will be enjoyable for years to come. We are so glad we went with Level One. I am the type that gets three or more quotes on everything. With the pool being a major expense I took another step and actually went and looked at several different companies final product. I spoke with home owners that used Level One and other companies as well. What I found was, Level One from start to finish was the company I wanted installing our pool. other companies claimed to be cheaper (not by much) but did not include a start to finish install. The only extra with Level One was the electrician and gas for the heater (which was expected) and standard with all companies I looked at. Other companies I considered actually had the customer packing dirt around the pool for weeks before the concrete went in. Other companies I looked at required me, (The home owner) to pool the permit. With Level one all of the leg work, permits and inspections scheduling for the pool were handled by them. Did I mention how professional the crew was. The team showed up on time or early every day they were scheduled to be at the house. The added touch of the little extras performed by Level One added up to a lot as far as I'm concerned, Both cost savings and piece of mind. If your entertaining the idea of a pool. I would highly recommend giving Level One a call."
