"Chuck and his team were very timely, professional, and answered any questions my wife or I had. This was a large project requiring over 29 yards on concrete. I would recommend this crew."

"It was rough going for awhile. Luke came very promptly to assess the yard and discuss what I wanted. He quickly brought me one set of plans and a quote. The features I asked for had been included. I gave him a date when all work needed to be finished (I was having a family reunion). I paid 50% down and then didn't hear from him. He ended up coming just a few days before my company came. He worked alone and finished it all in the one day, except for 2 plants that were not available. They were put in soon after, except that one of them didn't look like the one in the proposal (all the rest did). I can't speak to the cost because this company was the only one in the area that had the qualities I was looking for. The bottom line is that the quality of product and work was excellent but I felt a bit secondary in his priorities."

"Just had our front porch completed with Quality Concrete. From the first visit to get a quote, to the completion of the job we were 100% satisfied. Quality Concrete is a Quality Company from beginning to end. It took a while to get on their schedule, but once we did, they showed up with a team of workers that got right down to business. We were amazed and impressed how efficient and fast they got our old porch removed and things set up for the new cement pour. Bryan was great at advising us and making recommendations to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. The entire job took less than a day to finish. We have complete confidence in Quality Concrete. Their work ethic of the full team was exceptional. Because of the high ethical standards I observed in Bryan Halder, I would trust Quality Concrete with all my future concrete needs."

"I had landscaping done around the outside of my home. They did a nice job and cleaned every thing up when they were done. I wanted plants put in that would come up every year and to not have weeds. All the plants came back up again this year. He did exactly what I wanted. They also put in new stone steps at the front of my house. The owner himself came out and worked with two other employees."

"I received a prompt quote and the work started within a week during the busiest time of the year for landscapers. A crew of 5 came out and finished filling in several deep holes in my lawn. The work took about 1.5 days total. Everything looked really good, and they even patched an additional spot I didn't point out during the work estimate... I guess they had leftover soil. That was definitely above and beyond! After the job was done, a sprinkler head had been adjusted too high above grade, and Ken immediately came out to fix. Great service and work overall, would recommend. My only note is that their communication could be better. The crews randomly showed up without giving a day/time to start work. Seeing a group of guys walking around our backyard all of the sudden was startling at first, but they politely confirmed they were there to landscape. Would appreciate a heads up in the future."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Cloverdale, MI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
