"I hired Daniel to redo the kitchen in my house. There were some minor setbacks along the way, but Daniel was very communicative through the whole process and accommodating. I found his staff to be very trustworthy in my home, which is important because I work full-time. When it came time to settle up the contract, the bottom line was what I was told it would be. Without a doubt, I'd hire them again and I'll recommend them over again. I'm very happy with my remodel. Thank you, Daniel."

"If you're thinking about purchasing from Pella I have to strongly advise that you think twice. I am a custom home builder of high quality homes so I know what to look for. My brother-in-law and I paid more than $50,000 for what is supposed to be top of the line windows and there are many quality control issues. The roll screens don't roll up, some installed backward, some with missing parts on the sashes, and more. They still owe us a window so the job cannot be completed yet. It started over a year ago. Sales doesn't want to have anything to do with service. They won't even file the request. Corporate, service, and the local dealership do not communicate. These are words coming from Pella representatives themselves. Excuses excuses but no resolutions. Save yourself a lot of money and headache!"

I am not taking on any new customers at this time. I am booked over three months. Thanks for looking! I am an LLR licensed Residential Home builder specialized in home repair but my licenses allow me to accept commercial business up to $5k per job. I also hold specialty contractor licenses in plumbing and electrical. I have been in business under my license since 2006 but have worked under other contractors for 15 years. Small to medium size projects are my preference but I treat them all with the same professionalism. I give free written estimates. I offer turn-key repairs with a warranty in most cases and don't move on the the next job until yours is complete. I itemize materials and labor and provide you copies of receipts for materials. Dependable, smoke and drug free. No labor payment is due until job is done right and customer is satisfied!

"This company is top notch from start to finish! I hired them to screen in a patio after they were highly recommended by a contractor whom I know. Their online reviews were also good, so I decided to give them a try. They gave me a detailed estimate of the work before they began. From the start of the project until it was done, they communicated with me about the status of the project and their timeline for completion. Each day, the workers showed up when they promised they would, and they were always respectful of my property. The workers are meticulous in their work and want to get things just right. They don't cut corners at all. Mr. Jones (owner) made some additional recommendations above my request to ensure that the project would turn out well. They aimed to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the work and went the extra mile to address any concerns I had. I was impressed by their great communication and professionalism, and all of the workers were friendly. I highly recommend them! Without a doubt, I will return to Brownstone Builders for my future needs."

"Our kitchen project was extensive, requiring demo all the way down to the studs. This was our third renovation with Extreme and I am still blown away by the finished product. The sub contractors were fantastic, the quality was top notch and the pricing was VERY fair. This company is so amazing they are too busy to start on our fourth project as quickly as we would like!"

"When you pay someone to install windows, you expect all parts of the installation to be completed! We hired this company based on a referral and theirs were done correctly. Our conversation was install of windows with us removing the existing inside window frame. They ASSUMED we would complete the windows. —- window casings and frames —- This was NEVER discussed and we were never told this was not part of their install price. Had we been informed, we most definitely would have requested that work to be done. When I questioned when they would finish, I was told they were not completing the project because we were. This was NOT written in the contract. If we had known they were leaving the windows unfinished completely on the inside, we would not have agreed!!! The owner called after his wife and I had worked things out and he was as far away from professional as you can get and he told me “they had more important jobs to do and would not be completing the job”. His wife called back and they did end up installing the casing and frames, BUT no caulking was done nor was I told it needed to be done to make the windows sealed correctly. Now we know why we have moisture on the inside of new windows when it’s chilly in the morning. After talking to other professional window installers, we have been told that that is part of completing window installations. We do not recommend using this company as long as John Brock is involved. If you do use them, we sure hope they do a COMPLETE job for you. Good luck!"

"After a year of renovations to our new home, benefitting from work with wonderful professionals, this is one who needs to be exposed to the community. This contractor took a substantial payment to remove an inner wall that needed a beam to be installed in the ceiling for support. His employee removed the wall and finished the work without installing the beam. This employee was emotionally unstable, threatening us when we communicated poor quality of work back to Jim. Needless to say, our ceiling is sagging and cracking. We made him aware of this August, 2023, and he promised to fix it repeatedly with a final deadline of January 15th. No word from him since early December. We have paid out of pocket for an engineer and repair to begin today with another contractor. This man not only left us in a truly dangerous situation, but he is emotionally unstable and put us through a rollercoaster of excuses, manipulation, and nasty texts. His license has been suspended and he has many previously logged complaints with the licensing board. BEWARE OF ANY PROPOSALS FOR WORK FROM JIM TOKUNAGA, or his business fronts, B&T ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING, ADVANCED BUILDING & CONSTRUCTING LLC, and various other “businesses.”"
