We worked with Craig Merrils on securing a quote and scheduling the work. He was wonderful to work with, came in fairly priced, and was super responsive to all our needs. Josue supervised the work onsite. The staff was highly skilled and hard working. They are committed to quality and definitely the best out there in terms of detailed, lasting work. They also use high-grade, low-toxin paint, which was important to us. After the job was complete, Craig and Josue went carefully over the work with us, and addressed any and all touch ups that were needed. "I contacted Omar about a job to repair a section of drywall in a kitchen that was damaged by a bathroom leak, and then to paint the entire kitchen ceiling after the repair. After taking a look at some emailed photos of the area, Omar provided a fair estimate - less than the most expensive estimate I got, but more than an estimate from another handyman. Omar was very responsive in providing the estimate within 24 hours, and also was able to start the job within 1-2 days after agreeing on the estimate. On the day, one of Omar's crew members, Benevicio(?), showed up on time, confirmed what needed to be done, and then began covering all of the areas with tape and plastic protection from dust and painting, as well as covering the floors between the front door and the repair area with drop cloths. He did what was needed to repair the sheetrock, and then painted the entire kitchen ceiling with the paint that I provided. He was careful to avoid contact with the walls, since we discussed that I didn't have paint to repaint the walls, only the ceiling. As other reviewers have mentioned, B. took care to protect the areas from dust and paint - covering all the walls, sealing off the open kitchen with a plastic divider, covering the floors, and wearing shoe covers - which I certainly appreciated. And, he was conscientious about clean-up after the job, to try to leave the work site as he found it. The job he did with the drywall repair and painting was also top-notch. I've had a number of sheetrock repairs done in our home, and this was one of the more flawless repairs - it's almost impossible to see the joints between the drywall patch and the original drywall, which is difficult to make happen. I appreciate the attention to detail and skill, so I won't hesitate to call Omar agin."

"Great job by Manny’s! This 1 bedroom condo had dirty walls, holes and hadn’t been painted in a decade. Manny gave a reasonable estimate for the job and when it took a little longer and required more paint, he didn’t charge more. Now the condo looks like a modern beauty! Manny communicated by text and email, and he was flexible and accommodated my client’s needs who is out of state. I am a real estate agent and I will recommend Manny’s to all my clients!"

"This is the second time I used Shalom Home Solutions for a painting job, after they did a good job on my rental. This job involves a four bedroom single family house with a finished basement, totaling 5166 sqft. The painting includes all interior surface and baseboards, with minor drywall repair and caulking. Amilcar and his crew did a very good job. They arrived early everyday around 7 a.m. and leave around 4 p.m. The cherry hardwood floors were covered with drop cloth and the railings were covered with plastic sheets. Some elaborate window treatment had to be taken down and put back. The house was cleaned up after the job was done. There was no damage in the process. It was completed on time. Amilcar was very communicative throughout the process, responding to my text message and email quickly. The only minor negative is when he brought in a few newer painters one day and their work was a bit rushed (not taping up the cherry shoe molding). Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the work."
