Eighty seven years and three layers of old roof tiles came off, new ones were installed, and no trace of debris was left. All done before the sun set. The next day damaged fascia boards were repaired for gutter installation on the following workday. We now have no water in the basement when it rains and the home looks beautiful. I called and spoke to Barb who did a great job of explaining their unique process which is a wash and rinse method that does not use chlorine or any other harsh chemical products; nor is any high pressure washing done. She came and inspected the house and garage and provided a detailed description of what was found and a quote . I decided to have the roof and siding cleaned on both the house and the garage. The job result was fantastic! One person commented "Your siding looks new!". Barb was extremely helpful during the whole process and the crew was great---no mess or damage to plants at all! "Jacob and his team (JI Roofing) were friendly, efficient and professional. Jacob patiently explained the process for roof removal installation to my wife and me, and then his team installed the roof exactly as explained. The roof had a number of different pitches and valleys which were addressed properly. JI installed ridge vents on three separate ridges, replaced an old gable vent, and correctly applied roofing to existing gutter helmets. JI removed a large, old, non-functional solar collector and an attic fan from the roof at no extra charge, which enabled a better roof installation. JI replaced an old skylight and trimmed / painted the interior skylight surround as needed. Upon completion of the roof installation, the JI team went through several rounds of cleanup, to ensure that the surrounding lawn and garden were free from debris. We wholeheartedly recommend JI Roofing and Exteriors. They did an excellent job at a price that was competitive for Long Island."
