Hi my name is Jodi Wise. I am a mom of 2 boys. I am looking for a few houses to clean during the week as one of my children are in school full time and my youngest part time. I have 7 years of cleaning experience. I have worked at 3 hotels & 1 casino as a cleaner as well. I can attend all my own cleaning supplies unless you are wanting me to yours if you need anything specific for your home! I would love to be able to just keep myself busy when my kids aren’t around! I love to work & cleaning work is my favorite type of work.

Hi! I'm starting out as a professional cleaner and have been cleaning homes for a few months now. Prior to this i strictly did move out cleanings and will still take those on if needed! \nI currently have clients in the Bennington and Elkhorn area and am looking to add more. I'm located in Bellevue but am willing to travel. \nI would love to help you maintain your home. Whether that be a general clean monthly or biweekly or a deep clean right before the holidays.

"Jodi and her wonderful crew have been cleaning our house for about two years now. We have weekly cleans with one week being a full deep clean and a lighter clean the next week. It has worked so well for me and my family. Jodi and her crew are always on time, always professional, and above all, they do always does a phenomenal job cleaning our home. We have three kids, three cats, and a dog and you would never know it because they do such a thorough cleaning. Jodi is always flexible and easy to communicate with if you have schedule changes or if you need something extra cleaned around the house. I highly recommend Midwest Contract Cleaning Solutions if you are looking for someone to clean your home."

FAQs for walls & ceilings cleaning service projects in Council Bluffs, IA

Plan on a light wall wash about once a month to keep dust, grease, and stains from settling in. If you have already hired a house-cleaning crew, which costs $15 to $40 per hour, ask them to incorporate this task into their regular visit. Most companies discount 15% to 20% when routine wall washing replaces an occasional, more labor‑intensive deep clean.

The best approach to cleaning walls depends on the type of paint you have. For oil-based finishes, mix warm water, a few drops of dish soap, and a splash of white vinegar. Then, wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth and rinse it thoroughly. Latex paint is more delicate—vacuum first, then use a dry sponge to lift any lingering dirt. Both methods preserve the finish without leaving streaks.

Drying is non‑negotiable after washing your walls. Leaving walls damp invites streaks, water spots, and even mold. After wiping, follow up with a clean towel, then use a squeegee or a box fan to remove the remaining moisture. Completely dry walls stay brighter and resist damage such as peeling, warping, or mildew growth.

Nicotine stains cling to walls and need a heavy‑duty approach. Cleaning professionals charge $200 to $1,000 to strip away the sticky residue with commercial degreasers, intensive scrubbing, and thorough rinsing. The service not only lifts the yellow film but also erases lingering odors, leaving the surface fresh and paint‑ready.
