"Very personable family owned and operated business who tries hard to please. They know their lawn maintenance and aim to please in trimming trees, but wanted to defer to me on every cut. I thought I hired them to take care of that side of it, but in the end I had a nicely trimmed tree and clean, aerated lawn. I would hire them again."

"After I saw how well they did cleaning up my back yard, i hired them to mow my back lawn and trim bushes/prune trees as needed. They come bi-monthly which is perfect for my back yard. They are very professional and do quality work. I have already ask them for a bid to do some additional landscaping in the front yard."

"I am totally pleased with the quality of their work. Carpenter Troy and Electrician Shawn were fast, efficient, extremely polite and accommodating, and the quality of their work was top notch. Supervisor/owner Aaron was true to his word on the estimate, which I considered quite fair considering the projects involved, and he was accurate in the time estimate for getting the work started and completed. I will be using them again, and would recommend them to anyone in need of handyman services."

"Kings owner, Louis, is truly a friend to his clients. One day I was on a hunting trip on an island in Northern Michigan waiting for the ferry. The lake was rough, the ferry wasn't running, and I was afraid I wouldn't make it back to the mainland in time to catch my flight back home to Las Vegas. Then I got a call from the HOA; the fire department had broken down the door to a rental condo and taken away our tenant. "Our security guard is waiting in the unit on overtime pay with the tenant's dog. Please come and take care of it right away." I didn't know what to do, so I called Louis. He dropped everything and went to my unit to make some emergency repairs to the door. He had been prepared to take the dog home if necessary, but the tenant returned.

Louis has been extremely conscientious about satisfying my ideas for what I want as an outcome on a project. I have often asked for unique details and he has been very agreeable about redoing something that I'm not ecstatic about. On the other hand, he's also very good about coming up with creative ideas to accomplish a better result than I anticipated.

His pricing has always been straightforward and very reasonable. Our jobs for Kings have ranged from $50 to $50,000. He has always been very reasonable. Actually, we feel comfortable in adding items to a project without discussing price because we can trust that we won't be gouged.

Kings is a small outfit, so Louis has always been able to personally pay attention to how our project is coming along. He also knows how to find someone to do something that would be outside his area of expertise, e.g., custom building a new door.

We recommend Kings Landscape and Maintenance to anyone. If I were to build a new home, renovate an apartment building, rejuvenate an apartment that has been damaged or just maintain the landscaping; I'd hire Kings to do it."

FAQs for lawn care maintenance and mowing projects in Coyote-springs, NV

Hiring a professional saves you time and can actually save you money in the long run. Without regular care, your lawn might develop problems like thatch buildup, diseases, or pests, which can be expensive to fix. A pro keeps your lawn healthy, so you can enjoy it without the hassle.

Mowing your lawn yourself is generally cheaper than paying someone to do it. While a lawn mower can cost between $80 and $2,500 depending on the type, professional mowing services charge between $30 and $80 per visit. Investing in your own mower means that over time, you can save money by handling the mowing yourself, especially if you maintain your lawn regularly.

While the wording may vary from company to company, lawn maintenance typically includes all the services that keep your current healthy lawn looking sharp. Think mowing, watering, weeding, and a spring or fall cleanup.

Lawn care digs a bit deeper. These packages may include services that elevate your lawn's health or address an issue throughout the year. Fertilization, pest and weed control, and dethatching all fall into this category.

There is no set-in-stone schedule for mowing your lawn, as each grass variety grows at a different rate depending on the season. Once you determine the type of grass in your lawn and its ideal height, aim to remove no more than the top third of the blade at a time to retain its healthy structure.

In the high growing season, this will likely break down to about once a week, which is why lawn care specialists often offer weekly plans.

Don’t mow your grass if it hasn’t grown more than one-third of its height since you last cut it. For example, if you want grass no more than 2 inches, don’t mow it until it’s 3 inches. Don’t cut your grass when wet, as it clumps together and places more stress on your mower’s blades and makes it harder for the sun to reach the turf. This can lead to mold or disease. Conversely, don’t mow when it’s too dry. But, if you do, be sure to raise your mower’s deck height by about half an inch to encourage slower growth.

Yes, landscaping can significantly add value to your home. High-quality landscape design offers a return on investment of 20% to 30%. A well-maintained lawn and attractive outdoor spaces enhance your property's curb appeal and market value, making it more appealing to potential buyers when you decide to sell.
