"Duane was amazing and one of the best contractors we have ever had. He is professional, hard working, respectable, polite, and honest. Our patio was installed incorrectly and after only 5 years it started to sink so much that it became a safety hazard. The stairs were falling apart and flipped up every time someone would walk on them. The foundation was so poor that it sunk almost 6 inches. Duane fixed it all. He dug up the entire patio, added an additional and high quality base, compacted it the way it's supposed to be compacted and rebuilt the entire thing. Now, the stairs are so sturdy they are going to last a lifetime. We feel confidant in the work that he did and know it's going to last. He worked with us on different issues we had, offered his expert opinion and we are so happy with the end result. In addition, while doing all this work, he also became friends with our kids. Our 6 and 8 year old would wake up every morning excited to see and spend time with Duane and he would always take time out of his day to talk with them and show them his work. He taught them all about his tools and even let them work with him "in the dirt," which made them feel special. Even our one year old played peek a boo with him out the window and he was always up for a game. All in all we highly recommend Zen Landscaping and Duane for any landscaping or masonry work."

I hired Neel Outdoor Works to install a brick wall and platform for a wood burner and my experience couldn’t have been better. The timelines for material drop off and execution were not only upheld, but were also communicated clearly which has been hard to find dealing with contractors. When the crew arrived to do the work they were able to explain everything that was happening, how long it would take, and precautions to take while the components cured.
