"The gentleman showed up on time, and admitted that he had never worked with the dog door kit I had, to be installed in a sliding glass door. I admit that I was told, up front of their service charge for coming out. However, they were the only professionals that were willing to come out. As for the door the service man, he was the one that discovered the door was damaged, it has been returned. As for the dog door being installed, that has been ‘tabled’ now. Now, granted, I was informed ahead of time of all the expenses from the company, and I agreed to it. As to their work, I can not comment because they did not do any, their work may be excellent. The service man that came out was able to get me a deduction for any future work. As for me, this has been an expensive lesson, that has been learned."

"It was a pleasure to work with Jim Hughes who is the owner of Mailbox Xpress.  He responded quickly with a phone call to an email that I had sent him.  My mail box pole had rotted away and fallen over so I did not have a mail box.  A neighbor said that if I bought all the materials he would install it for me so I watched a UTube video on mailbox installation and headed to Loews to purchase all that I needed.  After stops at Loews, Home Depot and a local hardware store it was evident that I was not going to find the quality or even the materials that I was looking for so I decided to search Angie's List for mail box repair.  They made it difficult to find Jim's company but I am glad that I looked a little deeper.  Jim did an excellent job.  He took the time to answer my questions, offer suggestions and install just what I needed.  Due to the fact that I had no mailbox he made my job a priority and came the very next day. He even came back the following day to install numbers on the pole.  The finished product is wonderful and has a lot of curb appeal along with functionality.  I am very pleased and recommend Jim to anyone needing a mailbox. I wish Angie's List would unblock his listing.  He takes pride in his work and really goes the extra mile to please his customers.

He mentioned that he had been doing this for many years and was confident in what it would take to get everything removed. His assumption was correct. "After reviewing a few companies I called up Dave since his prices were more competitive. He answered and I explained what I need hauled. He gave me a quote, stating it sounded like one truck load. We agreed on a date and time, pending wintery weather conditions and he said he would call the night before to confirm. He called as he had stated, except a few hours earlier than expected (a good thing).
Coincidentally, someone knocked on my door the day before and offered to remove the trash from my driveway. I explained I had more stuff in the back and he gave me a quote as competitive as Dave. But I decided to stick with Dave and glad I did. I may have more stuff hauled in the future and I thought Dave was very professional over the phone. Dave and his assistant arrived on time. I told him he could drive his truck into the backyard to load. The job took about 40 minutes. Dave had to chain saw the picnic table and take apart the pool slide.
His price was more competitive than buying a $30 dumpster bag and having it picked up for $154 in my area, not to mention hauling everything into the bag. Dave is professional, personable and reliable with competitive prices. I would definitely hire him again and recommend to others.
