"We hired Lorenzo (VLC construction) via HomeAdvisor (Angi) to repair/replace 1/3 of our pebbled concrete walkway after it was damaged by Beryl last year. The walkway was damaged twice before and was repaired by partial replacements that were matched perfectly to the existing walkway, so we expected the same result from Lorenzo. Unfortunately his crew didn?t match either the color or the density of the pebble. When we talked to Lorenzo about it, he asked me to give it some time to weather and contact him later. Not only the color didn?t change after a few months, the replaced section became marked by rust stains, which means that VLC didn?t use construction grade pebble and used the landscape gravel that rusts. As the result, we have an eyesore the size of 1/3 of the walkway. When we contacted him he refused to make good on his work, so we have to hire someone else to redo his job and pay twice for it."
