"I have used Aly's Tree Service for 20 years. They've removed dead trees and planted new trees and trimmed trees. Usually Aly is there during the service and things go great. Usually I give straight A's. This time I asked for pruning and trimming of citrus trees. Aly came for the estimate. He said my orange tree was fine for another year--I always appreciate his honesty. The lemon tree and the lime tree needed some work. They had gotten too large and dense. Workers came out promptly. No need for Aly for this smaller job. After 30 minutes (and $400) they said they were finished. I looked at the trees and they were densely shaped shrubs on a trunk. Now, I know I asked for thinning/pruning. I told them so but they said this is how they always do it and how Aly told them to do it. I wasn't thrilled with this as my gardener will do this same work for no added fee. I told them sun and air needed to get into there and thinning branches was needed for healthy fruit. They either didn't understand me or acted like they didn't understand me as I tried to explain what I wanted. Rather than continue to disagree, I let them go. I called Aly's number and he came right over and looked at it and said he'd send a crew right over to fix it and they did first thing in the morning. I loved that response. The second job done was excellent and exactly what I had in mind. I'm not sure what was going on with the first crew. Did they want to quickly get the job done and not do all the work? Did they really not know what pruning a tree involves? Do some people really like super dense shrub citrus trees? I really trust Aly, but was disappointed in the work his first crew did. I will continue to use Aly and continue to make sure the job is done the way I need it even if I have to call them again to fix it up."

"I was contacted by Eli just after I put a request for prices to do the above work. He made an appointment for the next morning. After I made the decision to hire him, he started the work on the following Monday. He removed two 60 ft. trees. He and his crew were extremely organized and efficient with their time. Trees were removed along with all debris. The cleanup of the both front and backyards were great. I would highly recommend him for work and plan on having him back to prune fruit trees at the proper time."

Johnson’s Tree Care won us over with Kevin Johnson’s professionalism and client care. He kept in close contact with us via text and phone. He worked with both our schedules, and came on the date proposed. His crew followed our requests to the letter. The workers had safety equipment, Kevin’s company is bonded and insured, which was important to us. The crew worked continuously and cleaned the site completely, chipping the branches and hauling everything away. Johnson’s was not the lowest bid, but we sensed a quality job. Kevin is an arborist and can « read » the pruning history of the trees. He knows his business. We got our money’s worth and will hire this company again! They removed two 50+ foot tall trees near our home in a tricky location that required chopping up the trees into smaller bits and lowering them individually by rope. They were on-budget, on-time, and far faster than their initial time estimate of 2 weeks (done in 1 week). A team of 5 were at our home every day for 6 days and got it all done. Super professional, courteous, kind to our neighbors, and great quality of work all around. A+ rating, would work with them again."

"P&J does fantastic work. I am more than pleased. Joe is an arborist and has keen knowledge of trees, when and how they should be pruned and groomed or even removed. P&J removed three trees and many shrubs, pruning and shaping many other trees. Stump grinding was done to the removed trees. His crew of seven and himself showed up on time at 8am and they were done at 1130am. Amazing! They are licensed, bonded and insured."
