Small jobs welcome

"Rob is a skilled stone and paver artist. He rebuilt our stone lakeshore with care, and created new retaining walls and paver walkway for our lakefront home. Robâ s work is beautiful, and he works quickly. I will definitely hire Rob again."

"Steve and his crew arrived to the worksite as scheduled. The project lasted 4 days. The 3-man crew (including Steve) worked throughout the day every day in an orderly and systematic fashion to complete the project. One of the purposes of constructing the patio was to enable outdoor cooking without risk of fire on the existing wooden deck. After the patio pavers and joint sand had cured, the crew assisted in moving a 1/2-ton BBQ smoker from the deck to the new patio. I would describe this service as above and beyond what was contracted. Additionally, the area where the patio was installed is not accessible by large machines. The crew had to transport boulders, base material, pavers, and gravel by wheelbarrow from the staging area. Additionally, debris was removed the same way. There was no damage to any structure or other plantings in the adjacent areas."

"I was unable to mow my lawn for a time this summer. I called Greener Grass Systems and set up a weekly/mow schedule. The mowers did a good job mowing and also did the trimming and cleaning up. Everything looked great - a professional job. I have many flower beds that they had to trim around and never had any damage to any flowers. One week, a neighbor mowed my lawn for me, so I called Greener Grass and asked that they not come that week. Easy and no hassle and  professional work - I am well satisfied. <br />"

"John was very good at keeping us informed and showed up when promised. He was very helpful with deciding what was attractive and practical plan for our sunroom. They installed the underlayment and tile, being careful about any mess and or damage to walls, then reinstalled the wood trim and thoroughly cleaned up the work areas. The work was completed when promise. <br />"

"From the minute he came to my house, Chris was nothing but professional and helpful. Very meticulous, worked as if it was his own home. His attention to detail and is perfectionism is apparent. Always prompt with returning phone calls and you can believe it when he says he will call or come over.  <br /> Nicest, most honest guy with the best work ethic of all my renovation projects. I continue to use Chris as I am now working on a mud room and fireplace project. I can't say enough good things about First Choice and Chris. Don't look any further, hire this guy! <br />"

"Joe came over and looked at it and I had a written estimate in 1 day.  The work was performed the next day.  Excellent service and the work was done beautifully.  I did not care for the color of a few stones and they replaced them without any argument even though the job was completely done.  I would highly recommend Turcios Landscaping for their service and quality of work."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Danbury, WI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
