"Was told all week grass (which was overgrown because of their late start) would be cut BY END OF WEEK..   Now close to 5 PM Saturday and nothing has been done. The man showed up on Sunday and was working hard to catch up.. In talking with him I think he knows what he is doing...  I hope we will be able to depend on him coming on a regular schedule which is why we had to stop our prior lawn service..."

"Casey Miller is great to work with. He redesigned the deck to give us more usable space without increasing the footprint significantly. He priced out several options for decking/railing materials (treated wood, cedar, various composite materials) and gave me addresses of jobs he had done with a couple different composites so I could see how they looked in sizes larger than a 6-inch square sample and after they'd been weathering for a while. He pays attention to the smaller details (no butt joints on deck boards!) and makes sure the homeowner has input into decisions that other contractors might make on their own (i.e. do you want these adjacent posts side by side or diagonal? Do you want the downspout discharging this direction or that way?). <br /> The original deck had been fastened to our house improperly, with a horizontal support beam that channelled water into our home. Casey remedied this problem and coordinated with our siding contractor so that our siding job wasn't delayed and that the structural parts of the deck were integrated with the house's siding/trim with as clean a look as possible. <br />"

We were satisfied with their work. I didn't get any other bids so I don't know how the price compared."

"They made what seemed (and I was told would be) a big job into a minor one.  They called ahead of time to tell me they might be late (most others call at the time or late).  Then they were earlier (not later) than the estimated time!  They carefully cleaned up the site!  It looks great.  They asked me if anything more needed to be done (rather than taking off).  They were extremely polite and professional and I will be calling them again for any related tasks that require muscle, efficiency, and a keen grasp of 3-dimensional space.  They disassembled and hauled off my eye-sore so quickly & cheaply!  Such relief - I've been looking for help with this for a very long time"
