"Sundek installed a new pool deck in July 2013. Great job, no issues, 100% positive. <br /> Our property seems to be more susceptible to ground expansion/contraction than usual, compared to our neighbors. Living in the house for twenty seven years I've seen more cracks develop in surfaces, from the garage floor, driveway, walkways, pool deck, and swimming pool walls than I ever thought reasonable even for South Florida.  The houses here were all built at the same time, by the same builder in the late seventies. There's never been anything disastrous, but certainly noticeable. <br /> Our new Sundek installation was no exception.  <br /> Hairline cracks appeared, grew larger with seasonal changes. Cracks in the original concrete base were noticed when two previous layers of  material were removed/repaired  prior to the Sundek install. <br /> Sundek's warranty covered any problems caused by poor application, defective material, etc. For obvious reasons, underlying issues not created by Sundek <br /> were not covered. <br /> When I called Corey at Sundek for advice he stopped by the following day for a look. He was surprised by the amount of cracks, some of which were three feet long. He spent some time examining the deck looking for areas that might not have been properly applied. We found nothing suspicious, no hollow spots, <br /> etc. <br /> I asked for any DIY suggestions, or a ballpark figure for patching and repainting the fifteen or so assorted cracks. <br /> He sympathized with my problem and explained that this was their busiest time with a backup of six weeks for work already contracted. If I could wait awhile until he had a crew in the area, he'd have someone come by and see what they could do. <br />  I agreed, and their was no discussion of payment at that time. <br /> About three weeks later,  two of Sundek's men showed up, said they were finishing a job nearby and went to check the deck out. We walked the perimeter <br /> and found close to twenty cracks. After explaining what they would do, they got to work and spent about an hour in the ninety degree afternoon sun meticulously repairing and repainting all the damage. I'm sorry I didn't get their names because they were professional, neat, efficient and really good <br /> technicians. <br /> Sundek didn't charge anything for the work or materials, even though they could have, and I would have gladly paid to have the work done. <br /> I'm happy to recommend them as reliable, efficient and dependable. And a special thanks to Corey who really is a good guy. Sundek's customer care is second to none, and I appreciate their goodwill and after-the-sale service. <br /> <br />"

We had dealt with unresponsive contractors in the past and this made a huge difference to us. During every step of the construction process one of the brothers would show up to supervise and ensure everything was done well. We removed the driveway, and right before pouring the new concrete an inspection was required, but coronavirus happened. "The overlay more than met our expectations. As a unit owner with a balcony covered in outdoor carpeting, I had to purchase a Shopvac just to regularly clean it. Everything (e.g., beach sand, dust, cracked leaves) stuck to the carpet. With the new overlay, my balcony is not only easy to clean but looks fantastic, too (see the before and after photos). Neal and his crew were very professional and accommodating. The work was done more quickly than I expected, taking just one day for the carpet removal and preparation and two days to overlay 16 balconies and walkways, Prior to his applying the overlay, our walkways had cracks and looked awful. Neal suggested that we hide the cracks with a random pattern in the overlay, and it worked well. Neal was incredibly responsive to our calls and our general needs, and his workers were professional, interacted well with our owners and renters, and seemed to be well experienced and good at what they did. Thus far, we are completely satisfied with every aspect of his services."

"Awesome. They sent two great guys. These guys came with great equipment, arrived early and knew how to do the job. All of the mold and green algae was gone. None of it was in my pool. They were nice people to work with and yes I will use them. I have tried so many high pressure spray companies and have lots of horror stories. I have had a black swimming pool. Last year as he finished my contractor apologized, he forgot to bring chlorine and had not used any. The mold was back in a few weeks. I think I found a good company."
