"I noticed a fishy smell coming from my outlet in bedroom. The outlet was hot to the touch. I put a claim in on America Home Shield. I was assigned GJC Electric. I called and spoke to Bree. She called Greg and hole said he would be out the next day in the morning. Greg came out at the time I was advised. He diagnosed the problem as the outlet was overheating and the wires were burned. He explained why I was smelling a fishy smell. He told My husband and I do not use space heaters on the same circuit that could be overheating the outlets. He replaced the outlet and wires and was done in about 20 minutes. I would highly recommend Greg and his company GJC Electric for all of your electrical needs."

"Facts: contacted company to schedule service. Two weeks before electrician would arrive. Electricians arrived on time. Review electrical problems with technicians (two showed up). Left electricians to survey the home's electrical system. Met with electricians about current immediate problem. Agreed that the state of the system required someone specializing in old homes with legacy electrical wiring. Technicians informed me they had someone on staff who could survey the home and provide solutions to remedy the existing problem and possible overhaul of the system. They said they would escalate the problem to the appropriate person. I asked when is a reasonable time to wait before hearing back from the company. They said by the end of the week. I asked again how long to hear back - thinking that the end of the week was optimistic since it took them two weeks to get to the house. They said again by the end of the week. I waited until the following Wednesday and after not hearing anything from them left a review on the company website. Later that day a manager contacted me to discuss my review. NOT to discuss the possibility of getting someone out to the house but specifically the review. He stated a technician called me the day after the technicians were at the house. I have a smartphone they record ALL incoming and outgoing phone numbers. NO number from anyone I didn't know showed up in the phone log. NONE. And if he had called and received no answer NO one from the office bothered to follow up either by phone or by email or by text message. To the people at Oliver, welcome to the 21-century. How about using some the technology available to you for something besides swiping my credit card for the "arrival fee". DO NOT HIRE this company for ANYTHING! And BTW, another company I contacted for the same issue has sent me three text messages to follow up on the appointment that hasn't even happened yet. And I didn't have to wait two weeks to get on the schedule. Oliver, take a hint!"

"This is the second time we used Pop's electric. The first time we had an attic fan installed with no issues. Then we had a bathroom fan replaced. The bathroom ceiling leaked after the first heavy rain. I spoke to Kim at Pop's and she sent Kevin and Chris back the next day after the storm. They were very apologetic and spent several hours working to correct the issue. The issue was resolved but the ceiling was stained. The owner Bob came back to repaint the ceiling . Bob , Kevin and Chris explained that this was the first time they had an issue like this with a bathroom fan replacement. Things do happen and no permanent damage was done. The staff at Pop's stood by their work and quickly resolved the problem. We plan to use Pop's for future electric work and would certainly recommend them."

"The company's response time was immediate. My husband has only one day off during the week and they were easily able to accommodate our scheduling concern. They were precisely on time and replaced the outdoor flood light that we bought exactly as requested. They also replaced ballast and bulbs in a fluorescent fixture. They even had a new motion light in their truck that handled another problem that we were having. The parts they supplied were reasonable in cost. We were quoted a per hour labor charge and they stuck to it exactly. Thanks to Steve and John for a job well done. We have more work to be completed and will definitely contact Urbano Electric again."

"Galle Electric came last month and removed the remaining knob and tube from our home, which was a big job. They did fantastic with it! Galle is a small family business with very competent, knowledgeable, personable, thoughtful, careful workers. They left all of the wires they worked on behind the wall (no surface mount), fished enormously and with tenacity to reach difficult places (even crawled through some crawl spaces), plastered over every small hole they had drilled, and were very responsive to requests. They regularly cleaned up the plaster dust they created and managed to get the job done (with 3 men working) in 3 1/2 days. They always arrived on time and worked through to the end of the day. I was very happy to have them and have been totally satisfied with the results.... No more knob and tube and a highly marketable home!"
