We knew he had a full time job when we hired him, but we?re told he mostly worked from home and would have time for the project. My opinion is it was just to difficult of a project for his capabilities."

"Estimate 1800 plus materials. Did not smooth the walls in the bedroom, moulding by doors not complete just left it undone. The bathroom the lvp floor moves up and down not level, the floor at door will not stay down and cut wrong toilet was never bolted to the floor, when medicine cabinet came out the patching was horrendous, the vanity not fully against the wall the moulding is blocking it from resting against the wall , the faucet the done backwards all messed up they reworked and fixed it. The p-trap we purchased never used but took they installed flexible pipe AND CUT the metal plumbing and put a flexible drain pipe when the shelf could've been notched or removed to enable the code plumbing. Toilet paper holder they struggled with because the patch job with the old recessed holder that was removed. They couldn't put the tp holder on. The threshold had absolutely no idea how to cut and fit granted the one we bought was wrong was told I can make it work. They paused my remodel due to they had other jobs they set up before mine and that's not right finish one before moving on to the next... they left a mess, had to get all the paint that was dropped smudged all over my original hard wood floor, I had to repatch the bathroom cause it literally looked like shit. My husband is going to get a plumber to redo the bathroom sink drain and still have to figure out how to get the tp holder installed when there is no drywall to attach it too it's all spackle patched. To me cut alot of corners. I constantly had to clean everytime they left. Oh I almost forgot the dimmer switch he fried cause he doesn't know how to do electrical , had to buy a new dimmer switch and get an electrician in to fix that, the light that was installed will eventually be redone because the box was supposed to be anchored to a stud not drywall and a jumper wire to the house wiring but it's behind the box so it's not serviceable. When the electrician was out for the dimmer the wires were never capped either. Fire hazard... The trim is not flush with walls 1/8 to 1/4 gap took our supplies with him when he left the job I never signed a contract only got an estimate and he wanted to be paid I have alot of texts which one even states I shouldn't have taken on this project. My home bathroom is not to code according to the village of schaumburg ...."

"Overall very happy with our experience with 4Ever Remodeling. They took our completely unfinished 1920s basement and created an in-law suite with extra-large bath. They were great at handling the City of Chicago permit process, which was one of my biggest concerns. Work included: Rebuilding basement stairs (sturdiest stairs I've ever seen). Adding a full bath with jetted tub, two-person shower, tile, all new plumbing including ejector pump. New exterior windows to comply with egress codes (really impressed with the exterior brickwork - you can't tell at all that any changes were made. They matched the grout and design perfectly). Installation of a large wet bar with dishwasher, shelving, quartz counters and cabinetry. Cabinets are very high quality. HVAC for basement and they extended the AC throughout first floor as well. Lighting, flooring, drywall, insulation etc. Highlights: Particularly impressed with their carpenter who did gorgeous, perfectly aligned work. Their designer, Magda was very helpful in guiding us and helping make selections (we've never done a project anywhere near this scope before). Communication was very clear and responsive. Workspace was immaculate at the end of every day. As with any project of this size there were a few nits: Their electrical team was slow to address a few concerns the inspector had and they disabled an outlet on the first floor. Granted, they were given an absolute trash mess of wiring to start out with. Also, the bathroom painter did not cover the tub when painting the ceiling, and I had to spend some time scraping flecks of paint off with a credit card. Those minor issues aside, I feel confident the project was done right, everyone that sees it absolutely gushes about the result, and I'm jealous that my in-law kitchen and bath are nicer than my own on our first floor! I'd definitely use 4Ever again (and in fact are considering a second project right now)."

"What can I say about Dan and crew? If there were six stars, I would have given them all of those! Our powder room job was also flooring for the hallway and laundry room, plus a utility sink. It was a total gut job in the bathroom. Dan could not have been nicer, quoted us a more than fair price and the job was finished in record time. He was very responsive to any questions we had (ok mostly me). Also, his workers (2) were fantastic. I'm not sure if I should name them, so I won't. They were efficient and professional, asked questions when needed and cleaned up the site and their work space (our garage) every single day. They treated our home with care, as well as our old appliances and new fixtures. We could not have been happier with all of it."
