"The electrician and his 2 assistants arrived on time with all necessary equipment and tools. They were well organized and the assistants reminded me of good operating room nurses. Every time the electrician needed a tool or piece of equipment, they had it ready. The light fixture was quickly installed. Running the electrical lines for the plugs was difficult as they were located near the lowest edge of the roof line and were difficult to "snake" into place. But the Cody Malone team did a superb job. And the walk the talk. They said we like to leave our clients in better condition than when we came - and they did."

"I contacted Sci-Fi Homes in connection with installing a whole house generator last year while doing a major renovation on my home. My initial reason for contacting them was to "pick their brain" on the process as I didn't think I could afford their services. Marshall was quick to respond and was totally professional and courteous during our initial meeting. He provided an extremely detailed quote just a few days later. The price was very competitive and combined with their overall professional and friendly demeanor awarding them the job was a no-brainer.

Marshall took on the added responsibility of coordinating with the contractor, propane provider and the electric company as well. Everything came off without a hitch. Our fuse box situation was a particular mess so we decided to have Marshall and Tony do that job too, because of how well the generator installation went. Once again, a first class job! We had to fire our contractor 8 months in to a promised 4 month job and we found ourselves in a real bind. All facets of that project had been started but nothing had been completed.

The electric work was a real disaster. Once again, it was Marshall and Tony to the rescue! It took them a week to figure out what had and had not been done, what was not done correctly and get it all straightened out and working. They really went above and beyond. I will be using Sci-Fi Homes for all of my electrical needs from now on. They are simply the best!"

"A senior technician gave the house a thorough examination, including the circuit breaker panel and power requirements of all major appliances and quite a few minor ones to ascertain load requirements and whether any load shedding modules would be required depending on the generator selected.  He listened carefully to my preferences.  He discussed in detail my options, what the project would entail and how it would be carried out.  This is in contrast to other companies I asked for bids, who either did a cursory review and came up with solutions I didn't like, or promised to show up to bid, but didn't even show up.  All aspects of the work were done by crews large enough to get things done quickly with extreme attention to quality and to protecting my property with minimal inconvenience to me.  Each stage of the work passed at its first inspection.  This project involved critical coordination with the County building inspector, the electric company and the propane supplier, so there were many opportunities for problems.  None occurred.  Work was completed on time as promised, and to the highest standards I can imagine.  They even did a very good job of regrading the trenching and reseeding the grass in the areas they had to dig up.  I would definitely recommend Appleton Campbell for this kind of complex work in which price is less important than  competence.

She gave me a follow-up call next morning after my multi-company query through Angie's. My inquiry detailed list of three small repairs did not get other takers, so no real cost comparison, but I feel the price was fair-- $500 for about 2 hours, including the plan and dispatch fee."
