"Oitlast Construction just finished re-roofing our house, garage, and workshop. We found them on Angie's List and they appeared to be the best choice. They were excellent!! They kept us informed as to when they would arrive, and during the job. They were in and out of here in three days, which is amazing. When they finished up, you would never know there was ever such a mess. The yard looked exactly as it did before they came. I would recommend this company to ANYONE!!"

"The owner, Sam was great to work with and very professional. The crew of men that he had working with us were very nice, but the quality of work was not as good as expected. After the work was supposedly complete, I had to go back and ask them to fix several things that looked like they had not been done by a professional. The caulking was sloppy, you could see many imperfections on the brand new walls, the new showerhead leaked and ruined our  new sheetrock (which they sent someone to look at it and he then said I would need to call and get a job order for it-isn't that why I had called in the first place?). We had a clear vinyl sheet placed over the wall where our resident's bump against the wall with walkers and shower chairs. It was installed where the piece had cracked. I had sent pictures to the owner as well and said he would send someone over. They looked at it but never fixed it. The quality of work was much less than I expected. <br />"

"We are very pleased with the work that Absalute Vinyl did for us. Miles, the installer, did a great job with his work and cleanup. He was also good at communicating. Once the job was begun, they were here every day and worked straight days to finish the work. It did take a long time from September, when we signed the contract and put money down until April when the job was started and finished. This was due to Absalute's busy Fall schedule, then Minnesota winter, then we were gone for the month of March. We are happy with our new roof and the work of Absalute Vinyl. <br />"

"Lonny at Heartwood was excellent to work with.  He made sure we understood everything that was going on, kept us appraised of issues and made excellent recommendations regarding our house.  Communication was A+++ (which is very important to my husband and I).  I felt that he not only worked with us with our insurance claim, but also fought for us to make sure we got a fair replacement for our damaged property.  He also broke the process down for us-- asking us to select replacements/colors/etc for things as they were needed instead of requiring it all right away; but provided us a full list up front so we could get to things as we were able. <br /> I appreciated Lonny's willingness to work through the scenarios with us; he entertained our ideas and gave us quotes and opinions when we asked for them.  Every time we stopped by the house, all of the workers who were there (whether from Heartwood or a company working with them) were polite, helpful and friendly.  For a bad, stressful situation; it was as good as I could have ever imagined it.  We're back in our house now and happy with all the work done.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heartwood to anyone. <br />"

Mr. Haas stayed in contact with us for more than a month to ensure that any questions or issues we had were addressed."

"He found a problem with the way my bathroom vent was installed, and he solved that problem before continuing - very much appreciated! The job was done on time, on budget, and professionally handled. It was a mess afterwards, but that is the way it goes with dense-packed insulation. And there were a few nicks on the new sheetrocked walls because of the equipment, but again, not sure that can be avoided. I would hire him again, without reservation. <br />"
