"Arrived on time.  One worker climbed large backyard tree and removed tree with a crew while at the same time one worker climbed and trimmed up large frontyard tree with another crew .  Both trees where over the roof of house with very large branches.  The tree in the backyard was also had the stump ground down.  The crew worked taking away branches and hauling off wood to be loaded on to a truck or ground up in a tree grinding machine.  Crew cleaned everything up before they left.

"David gave a free estimate at a fair price. He began by walking his crew through the entire job area and briefed them before starting work. They were highly professional; accomplished all job requirements; cleaned the entire work areas; removed several trees, one near a building, without any incidents; ground down all stumps; chipped and shredded all tree debris; raked and cleaned the area. I would highly recommend Tall Timber Tree Services and will definitely hire them for any/all future projects."

"A storm brought down our big tree and we were forced to find someone who could chop it up and haul it as we are so busy. We contacted this company and Van got it out of there in no time at a very reasonable price. Great Service! Highly recommended. Thank you for your service brother!"

"Got an estimate on overgrown bushes that previous owners had. Nunn came & gave me an estimate the day I called. After a few weeks I called Nunn to schedule and they were able to stop by on the way to another job. It was SO quick! Literally all of the bushes/branches (on both sides of yard) were cut down and hauled away within 30 minutes! I paid the same amount that I was quoted a few weeks prior. I would definitely recommend Nunn. I am already thinking of what else I want removed just because they were so quick & efficient."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Duncan, OK

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
