"Chase from Excel Renovation was great to work with regarding our residential garage roof leak. He was very personable and there was excellent/ professional communication in talking through the potential issue and then scheduling a time to meet. Chase ended up starting with a simpler repair approach first, re-fastening and re-sealing a roof flashing, which we agreed was the right thing to do for our type of roof leak (very small leak) and for this cold time of year (late Nov). He was very honest in what he thought was the likely issue and digging deeper right away in our case, instead of just resealing and testing first, may cause more harm than good. He would not take any money for the repair…I tried though. :-) He said to keep an eye on it during the upcoming rain and snow melt(s) and he could always dig deeper if needed in the spring, removing interior sheetrock and then applying water with a hose over suspected area on the roof. If you’re looking for an honest company that won’t steer you wrong, give these guys a call. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely work with them again!"

"Tom was very responsive and a conscientious contractor. He came out to the house within a couple of days to make an estimate. He was exactly on time. He climbed up a ladder to examine issues he would encounter while making the estimate, and he was knowledgeable on gutters. He made another appointment for us to select colors and then arrived with array of colors from which to choose. It was 3-4 weeks before he got to doing the job, but he had said they would continue on with doing gutters up until the end of the year. It took a couple of days (cold ones at that) and I was not here when work was performed, but they did clean everything up in the end. The price was in the middle of the bids that we received. All in all they did a good job and they would get my recommendation.

Tyler was super responsive and clear about the work window they had available. He was on-site multiple times to go over options and answer questions. The roofing team showed up early and was attentive to detail, replacing the needed boards and installing new vents and shingles to better protect our home. "I couldn’t be happier. They presented written contracts to protect me, the homeowner, not just them. The contract clearly outline payment schedules and roofing material used (brand, type, and colors). They worked with our insurance company and pointed out things the insurance inspector did not take into consideration. Pro Custom Builders filed for the permits and are licensed and insured. They have the right tools and safety equipment. The roofers were experienced. We are very satisfied with the work. Even though, they did a good job cleaning up afterwards. The next day, a different person came out to check the yard, again, looking for nails. It is great to have a perfectly done roof."

"We had an older roof with wind damage. I had several contractors come out, all from Angie's List with A ratings, and Matt was the first one to say my insurance would cover the damage no problem. The others were blaming my older shingles for the issue and didn't think insurance would cover anything. I have never filed a claim before and Matt was there to help every step of the way. He was there when the adjuster showed, worked with the insurance company directly, was there when the roof was being installed and they did the roof in a day, along with some other work I needed done. Their pricing was the lowest of all the bids. Never an issue, professional, courteous, and answered my questions along the way. I will definitely be using them for some more work in the future. "Premiere Exteriors was recommended by a neighbor who was in a similar situation to us with the same insurer and (likely) similar shingle damage due to a hail event in August of 2019. Carey (co-owner) Responded quickly to out initial call and came out to look at the roof. He is super friendly and answered all of our questions. We started a claim with our insurer that day. MaryBeth (other co-owner) is just the kindest, most smiling, pleasant, helper, possibly in all of the roofing businesses in MN. Even when they were swamped with work she kept us informed and current with the status, next steps and rescheduling our roof replacement start date (weather related). Clay, the production manager knows his craft, is a skilled tradesperson himself and really helped inform us of how our roofing system works and why the various components work together. Clay oversaw our projects’ logistics and the roofing crew to help ensure details were not missed and the level of work performed would meet our expectations and it did. The roof looks great, the roofing crew did a pretty good job cleaning up after themselves and Clay did a completely separate clean-up using a rilling magnet to “find” many of the roofing nails still in the lawn (we have to kids and a dog that are always in the yard, so this was VERY appreciated). We are satisfied with our experience with Premiere Exteriors and would recommend them ESPECIALLY compared to some quite unpleasant stories we’ve read and heard about other roofing companies and their teams/employees."
