"Scott from After Dark Lighting came and did a full review on our 2 acres of landscaping for adding functional and decorative lighting around our pool area and in front of the house to highlight our home at night.  We had asked other landscapers who claimed to be able to do this but were not given too many choices or references.  He has many examples of work he has done.  The examples gave us ideas of things we could do to our yard. <br /> Scott's proposal was super detailed and provided us with exactly what we wanted.  He suggested areas that we might want to have a focus on and changed his proposal to accommodate what we felt was a better use of our budget.  While we had a relatively large budget, we were still conscious of how much we were spending and where to put the resources.  Scott is as professional and courteous as he is creative. <br /> The crew has been terrific as well.  They are very professional and have taken their time to get it right. <br /> We have highlighted trees, the house, the pool area and added lighting to a fire pit area. <br /> Our property looks like a country club.  It is awesome!  We love it and highly recommend After Dark. <br />"

"Cito and team were great! My initial contact resulted in Cito coming by to perform a good estimate. He had several suggestions on what we might do to improve the landscaping. I accepted some of those for this first job and others for a future job. The team showed up as promised and within just a few hours had all the work completed. The picked up all the debris and washed down the walks. They accomplished all the work as promised and even more! Excellent job! I would highly recommend them, and I plan to have them come back for additional work next spring."

"I was very impressed with the service. I am a photography student so I work with a lot of heavy weight programs and very large files. I also do a ton of research along with my school work. After one year of using my brand new laptop for school, I had NO space left on my computer, it was crashing constantly, files were corrupting, and of course, everything was taking forever to load. "Not well. When I called to schedule a time for the service, I was clear on what we needed done. An outlet on a bedroom wall for <br /> a small TV.  Also, we wanted to have a hanging light fixture moved approximately a foot and a half so the light fixture would be more centered in the room. I explained that we needed the tv mounted and that the ceilings in our home are 13 feet tall therefore a tall ladder would be required. The first appointment we were no showed. I called and was told there was a death in the family and we rescheduled. I was not home when the eletririan arrived but according to my husband the gentleman told my husband he "doesn't mount TVs. I'm an electrian." He did not have a tall enough ladder with him to reach the light outlet.  He left. I called again to inquire why nothing was done. The man who answered the phone was obviously irritated  with me. I repeated his ad to me. It clearly stated that they DID hang wall mounted TVs. Long story short the first gentleman returned at a later date, installed the outlet , hung the tv. He couldn't move the wiring to move the light fixture so he swagged the light fixture which was fine however a handyman could have done that. I would have to say my issue is attitude. We understand emergencies and sympathize with their loss. But the rest of it including the bad attitude on there part was unproffesioal..I am not an electrician and don't know what is required to not only do the job but if the job could be done. I understand that this is a small business which i would rather hire then a big one.   <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We were so excited to find Habiscapes for our backyard paver project. Michael Wiegand came on site in one day's notice to review our space and listen to our ideas. While he provided excellent design options, he didn't try to change our plan or give us something beyond our scope. He gave us catalogs to review so we could see photos and select the stone products that would work for our space. We knew we wanted to award Habiscapes the job, as it was clear Michael and his team were experienced and educated in every facet of landscaping, from plant selection to stonework and water features. Once we hired Habiscapes, Michael and his team of dedicated workers prepared the backyard area for a patio floor, a sitting area, and a propane fireplace. The workers arrived early as scheduled and removed existing plant materials and a large grapevine and arbor. The lawn was protected with wood planks before any equipment was brought in for dirt removal. Every phase of the project was planned, organized, and carried out with precision. They even removed some existing debris and concrete we had left in the yard from a DIY project--at no extra charge. The Habiscapes team worked tirelessly each day, and we were given plenty of options and feedback along the way. Michael kept us apprised of the progress and any changes that could possibly affect the bid, and his Foreman, James, was engaged and informative for every task. Michael is down to earth, competitive, and has an amazing team of professionals working for him. We loved that Michael works as a hands-on manager--getting in with the guys to perform the work rather than telling them what to do. The project took only one week, and we are so pleased with the outcome. We have a beautiful, custom flagstone paver patio, a custom seating bench and wall, and a cozy and functional fireplace to enjoy. The entire experience was so positive, and we can't wait to have the team back to repair a stone wall and build a custom water feature for us. We highly recommend Habiscapes!"
