"We had two men take down 15 trees of various sizes. They were focused, professional, and hard working. We also had them remove many stumps all throughout our yard. They did a thorough, efficient job at a very reasonable price. The job took a few days. They removed all debris. Our yard looks so good now."

"Several trees were removed. One older oak tree that was leaning toward the house was of particular concern because it was well over 100 feet tall and the slope of the surrounding land was rather steep. Diego climbed the tree and carefully lowered pieces to the ground as he cut them. The crew removed all debris."

"I called Kevin on 8/12/13 and he came out that afternoon and gave us an estimate.  Called him on 8/13/13 to tell him we would like the work done.  He said he could do it the next day 8/14/13 and he returned on 8/16/13 to seed and put the straw down.  I would recommend him for you tree and stump removal.. We were very satisfied....  Thanks Kevin...

"We are completely satisfied with the work done by TLC Tree and will definitely be hiring them again for our tree needs. TLC Tree is a friendly, honest company to work with. We had one 100 tree to remove and another to be topped. Travis stopped by on a Saturday and provided us with a fair estimate. He called Monday evening to tell us he would remove the trees on Tuesday. They arrived before 8:00 AM and were done and cleaned up by 9:30 AM. All tree debris was removed. 09/11/2018: TLC Tree did a great job for us last year, so we asked them to come back and remove another dying tree this year. We sent an email on 8/29 requesting the tree be removed sometime in September. The day after Labor Day Travis called and offered to take down the tree the next day. Unfortunately we were out of town, but he told us as long as we were ok with taking down the tree in our absence he would take it down. When we returned it was hard to tell that any tree work had been done. There were no sticks, leaves or even sawdust, but the tree was gone. Another excellent job done by Travis and crew. We highly recommend TLC Tree for any tree work you may have."

"They didThis crew did an outstanding job clearing and removing several massive storm‑damaged trees from my property. These were huge, dangerous trees, and they handled everything with real skill, efficiency, and care. They worked safely, cleaned up thoroughly, and were professional and friendly the entire time. If you need big trees removed, this is the team you want. Highly recommended a great job on fallen monster sized trees"

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in East-Baldwin, ME

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
