"I met with the agent after the inspection was complete. He walked me through the results explaining in depth (and in layman terms) anything that needed attention and items that he felt were exceptional. He went as far to tell me it might be a good idea to remove the diving board in the pool area because 90% of all pool injuries are a result of diving boards and/or slides and that it may result in higher insurance costs. He also explained a lot about septic systems and swimming pools that I wasn't aware of. The previous owner had an inspector come in before listing the home and fixed everything on his list. Most items my inspector found were minor and inexpensive to fix. Finding the failed connection to a bathroom drain really impressed me. The drain worked properly unless a large amount of water flowed trough it (emptying the tub). I feel he went over and above his duties and would recommend this company to anyone needing inspection services."

"Wow! We couldn't be happier with Lewis Shelton and Scott of LRS Surveying. A lot of professionals tend to use their superior subject matter expertise as an intimidating shield to hide behind. By staying mysterious and removed, these "pros" seek to avoid close customer interaction and crank out a cookie cutter product. Fortunately for us, Lewis and crew were fully engaged and responsive from the time we first contacted them until delivery of the final product. Lewis discussed our desires, made recommendations, and then modified the survey to suit our evolving desires and requirements. He even personally modified our survey "on the fly" to add fence boundary markers and flood zone locations. He patiently explained every step of the process, showed up on time, stayed late to accommodate our new requests, responded to all emails and phone calls in a timely manner, and offered competitive pricing. If you want to deal indirectly with your surveyor through a front office scheduler or secretary, then choose one of the big firms (and hope they return your phone calls and schedule at your convenience versus theirs!) "Our eastern property line in dispute by bordering tenet and land owner, they had failed to deal with previous property owner and expected us to take their word for it. They hired a friend to survey it for them, while we called an unknown third party. William White of Ridgeline was very professional but very friendly walking me through some of the issues and variables of surveying I didn't know. We spoke several times over the phone trying to figure out if the previous suveyor was going to resurvey or if we could just proceed before making an appointment for him to come out. This company is a husband and wife team that work very efficiently together. They are frequently hired by the county to redo shoddy work done by previous surveyors. While William was working another part of the line his wife was further explaining what they were doing. They explained the various methods used in our area to survey, what the difference was and how that translated to differences in the actual surveys. which was the problem discovered on the line in dispute-3 surveyors using 3 methods finding 3 different lines. Luckily Ridgeline uses up-to-date modern technology that is way more reliable. When we decide to have the rest of our property verified we will definitely call Ridgeline. After my experience with trying to locate a reputable local surveyor I wouldn't call anyone else. <br />"
