"The work was top quality. I don't know what else to say. The crew was very clean and respectful of the property. They cleaned up so well after themselves that except for the "new house & garage" you'd never know anyone had worked there."

"Darin was on time - and didn't stop working for 5+ hours! He thought it would be a tough, all-day job and he was right. His effort paid off! The house and deck look and feel like new. When he initially quoted me the price, I was a bit hesitant. It was substantially more than I had paid to pressure wash my other homes. But cleaning this house with its wrap around decking took much longer, and the dirt and mildew had built up for many, many years. Thank you, Darin, you earned every penny today!"

"These guys are great! They showed up when they said they would and completed the job on time. The crew is very professional, are very careful and they clean up afterwards. They did everything they were supposed to do. I had them install the zinc anti-fouling strips on the top of the roof too. They gave me a very competitive price and honored the price with no surprises. I highly recommend Clayton and Sons."

"Tyler was very professional and answered all my questions. As well a bring up concerns that that I should have about the care of ones roof. We were able to create a plan for my roof over the phone. This made it easy to schedule the work at our connivence. He described the process and chemicals being used; and their effect on my plants and cedar shingles. He did explain that it may take 2 to 3 months for the roof to become completely clean. But assured that he could come back in a few months if wanted to get the roof rinsed off with a hose and not a high pressure washer. I’m looking forward to a clean roof."

FAQs for roof cleaning service projects in East-waterboro, ME

To find a reputable ice dam removal company, check verified customer reviews and ensure they have the proper credentials. Look at online testimonials and consult reputable agencies like the Better Business Bureau to validate their service record. Contact the company to ask about their experience, hourly rates, and safety practices. This helps ensure you're hiring a pro with proven expertise and a solid track record to protect your home from ice dam damage.

Ice dams can cause extensive damage that jeopardizes your entire roof structure. They can lead to issues like attic condensation, broken roof sheathing, persistent leaks, visible wall water stains, mold in your attic insulation, sagging drywall, rotting attic framing, and roof collapse. This damage compromises your home's integrity and requires immediate professional attention to ensure proper repair and safety.

Most insurance policies don’t include coverage for the removal of ice dams since it's considered preventive maintenance. However, damage caused by ice dams—such as roof collapse, extensive water damage, or structural failures—may be covered by your policy. It's a good idea to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams. Use a proper roof rake from the ground or a safe ladder—never climb onto an icy roof. Also, consider addressing any inadequate attic insulation that may cause heat leakage. Promptly clearing snow minimizes risks and helps maintain a safe, durable roof.
