"I called Steve at 9:19 the morning of September 9th and left a him a brief message about what I wanted done.  He returned my call promptly.  Said he would be at the house in about a 1/2 hour and he was.  It was 10:00AM.  Steve was very friendly.  I enjoyed talking with him.  He gave me a quote, we agreed to it and he started working while his crew finished up another job and headed over to help him finish up mine.  Steve had cut the large branch up in my back yard, cleaned up, and hauled everything around to the front by the time his crew got there.  At 12:30 they were done.  Steve and his crew help my neighbor across the street.  They cut up and moved a very large branch that had fallen out of his tree onto his fence and had it all bent out of shape.  They helped him to straighten his fence back up too.  It was straightened to perfection.  I was shocked at how straight they were able to get it.  Steve also gave me some excellent advice on my A/C because I was telling him about the weird noise it was making.  Thank you Steve, it worked.  It's not making that weird noise anymore.

"Tony came out the same day that I called to do a walk-through estimate. I was very impressed with the price. Due to severe rains, we needed to reschedule because my lawn gets swampy. He was very flexible about that. When they came, they removed a large branch that was hanging over the top of my house and cleaned up dead wood in several of my trees. I was terribly sick that day, and they did their work without needing to be watched every second. The job was extremely well-done, my trees look fantastic, and they left my yard in great shape. I'll be calling again in the Spring to clean up more trees. Highly recommended!"

"We had Clarke Tree Service trim 3 large trees that were badly in need of it.  They showed up on time and performed the work in a very professional manner.  Their cleanup was very thorough.  They left nothing behind and even refilled our wood pile with some of the dead wood they trimmed (and cut down to fireplace size).
The only B grades were for scheduling the estimate (it took 2 phone calls) and they underbid our job by about $200.  We thought the bid was quite low compared to other bids we obtained so we were not really surprised when they asked us to increase the cost.  Had it been for more than $200 or so we may have complained, but it wasn't and we felt it was underbid a little.  Even with the additional cost it was still the lowest bid from a reputable company that we obtained.
