"They showed up on time. Worked efficiently and I couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend them. We had our backyard filled the grass and weeds were taken out and reseeded. The grass is coming in great, can't wait to see it next year and mow on even footing."

"On time for meeting to discuss engagement; gave me an estimate on the spot; completed work within 3 days after estimate; work was done very professionally and clean up didn't leave even a twig on the ground. I received several estimates and this was the best pricing by far.
Would highly recommend.

I saw "The Big Deal" advertising $500 worth of tree service for $199 from Classic Tree Care.  I purchased the coupon thinking it was a pretty good deal, but I didn't realize my mistake until after I made the purchase.  After I purchased the coupon I had a representative from the company come out and he quoted me $1350 to remove the tree.  They also recommended I have two other Mulberry trees removed from my yard because they are "Undesirable."  I only wanted the one removed because it was practically my roommate.  I'm a new homeowner and I knew tree removal was expensive, but I didn't think it would be THAT expensive.  When the rep left I felt like he was trying to get one over on me; regardless of whether or not that is true.  I decided to get a second opinion and asked for a quote from another provider who was offering a coupon on their work; Most Wanted Tree Care.

Adam came out and quoted me $400 to remove the tree, not including the stump.  He struck me as a real-world, no BS kinda guy-something I certainly appreciate.  I could hardly believe it.  I booked it on the spot and purchased their coupon $199 for $400 worth of tree service.  They were supposed to come on a Tuesday but the team had been double booked so they rescheduled for Friday.  Friday came and brought thunderstorms (out of their control) so they came on Saturday.  I really have zero complaints, because I had a tree removed from my yard for $199, and it seemed like they put a real effort forth to get it done as soon as possible.  They were quick, non-intrusive, and took the lumber with them.

I am extremely happy with my experience and would definitely use them again.  I've had a decent amount of work done to my new home since the purchase at the end of March, and this was by far the least stressful part.  The other work I have had done is very high quality, and I paid for that quality.  With Most Wanted Tree Care I feel like I got the same type of quality for a very reasonable price.

"Jacob showed up on time and had the yard looking like the stump never existed pretty quickly. He cleaned all the chips and the kids were of course very interested in what he was doing, he was so kind and now the kids want a storm to knock down another tree just so heâ ll come back. I wouldnâ t hesitate to hire him again. He was very professional, honest and trustworthy. If you have a stump that needs removed hire him, you wonâ t regret it."

"I called Steve at 9:19 the morning of September 9th and left a him a brief message about what I wanted done.  He returned my call promptly.  Said he would be at the house in about a 1/2 hour and he was.  It was 10:00AM.  Steve was very friendly.  I enjoyed talking with him.  He gave me a quote, we agreed to it and he started working while his crew finished up another job and headed over to help him finish up mine.  Steve had cut the large branch up in my back yard, cleaned up, and hauled everything around to the front by the time his crew got there.  At 12:30 they were done.  Steve and his crew help my neighbor across the street.  They cut up and moved a very large branch that had fallen out of his tree onto his fence and had it all bent out of shape.  They helped him to straighten his fence back up too.  It was straightened to perfection.  I was shocked at how straight they were able to get it.  Steve also gave me some excellent advice on my A/C because I was telling him about the weird noise it was making.  Thank you Steve, it worked.  It's not making that weird noise anymore.
Very professional service and excellent customer service.  I would call them again and recommend them to anyone at anytime.  Thank you so much Steve and Crew.

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Edgerton, MO

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
