"Byers was amazing in every way. The buying process of was easy, the installation was quick & clean, and my roof and gutters look amazing. I got five quotes for roofing, three quotes for covered gutters and one of the roofing companies offered to "throw in" open gutters with my roofing purchase. I had not purchased roofing or gutters before, so I didn't know what I didn't know. I knew that I wanted a roof with a long warranty and gutters that were covered. I assumed that if you just purchased great shingles, you'd have a great roof. What I quickly learned is that not all roofs or roofing contractors are the same and most roofers also offer gutters. We chose Owens Corning shingles because we liked how they looked and they were a "cool roof", plus I wanted the longest warranty offered. I learned that I needed a Platinum Contractor to get the extended warranty. I also wanted covered gutters that I would never have to clean. All the screened gutter covers required cleaning for the warranty to be in effect, so I had to purchase an enclosed gutter system. Byers was the last company that we received a quote from because when they left my husband and I knew that Byers were the right contractors for us. The difference of their professionalism from the outset was noticeable. Our "lead" roofing contractor prior meeting Byers was a Preferred Contractor with Owens Corning, but not a Platinum Contractor, so they couldn't offer the warranty that Byers could offer. Additionally, they offered a mesh covered gutter system that would require cleaning. It was better than an open gutter, but I didn't want to settle. The "LeafGuard" gutter that Byers offered was an enclosed system and guaranteed that the gutters wouldn't clog and that we didn't need to clean them, ever! The gutters came in several colors. I thought we would pick one of those fancy colors, but we didn't. We ended up just getting white and I'm glad that we did. They look great, nice and clean. While they were installing the roof, we started talking about adding light into the house. We ended up getting two Solatubes one for the kitchen and another for the dining room. Natural light has such a different feel than a light bulb. They only took a few hours to install. It has made a world of difference. I would happily refer them to anyone who is looking for quality workmanship and long lasting quality roof, gutters or skylights."

"We got the estimate and gave the go ahead easily but then we didn't hear from them for about 2 months. I reached out to them to find out the status and they had just emailed me to let me know that the skylight had arrived and they were ready to install, We set a date. When the guys arrived to install, they stayed for about 30 minutes and left without saying a word to my husband; they returned and finished working. They left without saying a word to my husband to let him know they had completed the job and without picking up the payment. WOW, talk about unprofessional. I had to call and talk to the project manager to find out if they were done or not. They also didn't do any fixing of the sheetrock which we thought they would do given the cost but was told later that they don't do that. I had to call to inform them that their workers didn't pick up the payment so i had to mail it to them."

"Mr. Freeman went above and beyond what was in our contract. He reinstalled 4 roof flashings so water did not travel under the tile. He replaced approximately 3 broken field tiles. He sealed tiles and flashing were needed. Mr. Freeman came back two different times to fix 2 other leaks not related to his repairs at no charge. I would highly recommend!"

"We had cedar siding, which I loved, but it was being attacked by acorn woodpeckers and needed to be replaced. We had a really large project and I was very pleased with the whole process. We worked with Mike. The crew was managed by Vlad. They were all professional, prompt, hard-working and concerned that the job was done correctly. And they were very pleasant to have around. They worked on our job for about two weeks. They also arranged to have our gutters and downspouts replaced and painted under the eaves and the doors etc. We are very pleased results and their attention to detail. The house looks brand new. I am pleased each time I walk in and we are very happy we decided to go ahead with the project. They are also working on a separate scope to replace some doors. That task is still in process. We still have a couple of items on our punch list, but I have every confidence that they will be dealt with when they come to install the doors. In addition we are going to replace our deck and Mike helped us connect with someone to do that. We are very happy with the whole organization and would use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work."

"These folks know their business!  Compared with the two other estimates I sought, the ACS crew understood the source of the problems, saw alternative and best solutions, knew their materials, and were on the job and finished in short order.  The added bonus was that they took initiative to check out the entire roof of many peaks and valleys, corrected other minor problems, and cleaned out all the valleys and crickets that can hold water when cluttered with debris.  Mark Tate, the owner, personally climbed all over the roof and made the thorough inspection and provided documentation and clear photos of all trouble spots. Over the two or three days of work, he stayed on top of the job through his very efficient and amiable employees, returned to consider alternative solutions to the condensation arrangement and we settled on a solution better than the original, and he made a final inspection as well.   <br> <br>Considering a complex roof, some necessary creative invention to solve the runoff problems, and the range of issues to be dealt with, I felt the price was reasonable. They clearly value their customers and respond as readily as an emergency unit on-call because, as Mark said, "You are now our customer; we need you to be satisfied." <br> <br>I will hire this company again whenroof issues arise.  "
