"Shelton and his team were absolutely amazing to work with. They worked almost 3 days non-stop to get the job done. They were respectful, clean and professional. My wood cabinets look like they are brand new!"

"He was fast and pleasant to talk to but after it was all done I could see that the cabinets were not properly sanded before they were painted. After it was done, he cleaned out his painting equipment in the front yard which killed the lawn where the paint soaked into it. I had to have him come back and repaint a cabinet door and apparently he wasn't too happy about that because he verbally tried to intimidate me by arguing politics."

"The first problem I had after signing the contract is you are required to pay $1,000.00 that day. IF you don't sign/pay & you decide later to have the service done ... you will be charged a fee for someone else to come out & re measure. Another guy did come out the next day (to re measure), but he really came to collect an additional 7k, The first day the installers arrive on site they request another 8k. At this point I've paid 16K & have nothing to show for it ... the work has not even begun. Evidently they use your money to order the necessary supplies or insure they have your money so you will not change your mind. All of this was spelled out in the contract ...which I should have read & more carefully. I did try to cancel the contract but it was after the 3 day window & I was told if I cancelled I would have to pay 10 - 50 percent of the job (for nothing)! Bryton's claims they can "do it all", but they are not licensed to or don't have in their employ someone to handle all of your needs (ex. electricians, painters, etc.). They will however contract the work out on your behalf (for an additional fee that is above & beyond the price the contractor charges them). I also did not like the fact that the contract was not itemized as to what each thing was costing me. Just a lump sum total. I was disappointed at the quality of the items I received. For the amount I paid I should have received top of the line products. Had to settle for vinyl instead of porcelain tile, chrome fixtures instead of brushed nickel, "hard service" aka plastic vanity top instead of quartz or granite, the faucets are so short you can't even get your hands under them for washing, the sinks are small (looks like they belong in a play house. My cabinets they hauled out of here were a better grade than my new "upgraded cabinets"! The cabinets & drawers did not even come with handles, I had to buy them & they were kind enough to put them on (which splintered the doors when they drilled the holes. I had to hire someone to put in my lighting, exhaust fan/light, the glass for the shower & for painting. Bryton's finished up today, but I'm on week 3 & still can't use the bathroom because I'm waiting on the glass for the shower & still trying to locate a painter. My intent was to have a shower stall w/o a door which the Bryton Rep told me would work. Well it seems 2 weeks into the project .. the glass guy says that will not work & you will have splash out. Now I've got to add the extra expense of a shower door. I had no way of knowing what this project was going to cost up front because of having to contract out (which Bryton's made seem it was so easy ... just go to Lowes or Home Depot, buy your items & they will install for you ... it was not that easy & very time consuming). Needless to say I would not use Bryton's again nor would I recommend them to a friend. They have too many layers of people they are paying. I spoke to 9 different people during my project, seems everyone has a separate duty. Also they asked if I wanted a permit for inspection, originally I said no that I didn't think it was necessary .. but the more I dealt with them "I didn't have a warm fuzzy" so I told them I did want the plumbing inspector to come out, to me that really shouldn't have even been asked, that should be part of their process & a requirement. I guess it's another way for them to save money.
"

"
The work started in the master bathroom. We had a very 70’s blue tile bathroom that measured about 12’ x 4”. it could only accommodate one user at a time comfortably. Attached was a large unused vanity room. Dennis designed a new bathroom that offered a tiled walk-in shower, double vanity, closet for the toilet and a closet. The fixit crew demoed the entire bathroom from floor to ceiling and in about 2 weeks we had a very spacious and modern master bathroom with all the bells and whistles of a modern high end home. The shower was moved, the toilet was moved, ceiling vents were installed and vented outside, 6 new can lights including 2 in the walk-in shower, new tile floor and shower, new double vanity and AC vents were rerouted. The job was finished with a custom built stained double door and it created a very impressive entry into an entirely remodeled room. We are very very happy with not only the quality of the work but also the design concept Dennis came up with. I should also mention that all the work was done in our bedroom. The guys took the time and steps necessary to make sure it was cleaned every day so as not to disrupt our lives. This was an A+ job in price, quality and the crews overall awareness of the fact that the job was in one of the most important areas of the home.

Next Dennis, Mike and Tommy went to the other side of the house and began removing all the wood paneling. This was a big job. 4 rooms were remodeled from the floor to the ceiling again.

In these rooms there was woodwork that was original to the house. The crew carefully removed all the wood trim and reinstalled all of it without any damage. very nicely done. In the great room the Fixit crew installed (including wiring) 12 can lights, 1 ceiling fan, finished the drywall, refinished and painted the ceiling, installed new crown molding and baseboards, painted the walls and trim, installed blinds and installed nice engineered hardwood flooring. The same was done in the mudroom, mudroom bathroom and laundry room. These three areas all had new heavy-duty vinyl floors installed as well as light fixtures, steel exterior door and frame, dryer vent routed outside, crown molding and baseboards installed, 4 light fixtures and new laundry room countertop with large stainless farmhouse sink installed.

Once that area was completed the work moved outside where Dennis and the crew demolished a very old wood staircase at the back door and rebuilt it from the ground up. The entire staircase with landing were built on sight with a extra step added. That extra step makes a big difference. While outside the crew rebuilt our crawl space access door and matched the board and batten on the siding. Again, nicely done.

Dennis and the guys also installed a new guest bathroom counter top with two sinks and fixtures and at the end of the job blew 10” of new insulation into the attic. All told the Call MrFixit crew was here working in my home for just over a month. I never had a single problem with the crew or the quality of the work. The scope of the work was considerable. The Fixit crew made our house into the home we now have. It was worth every dime, was finished early and cost less than we had budgeted for. Almost anything you would call a contractor to do to your home was done here. These guys are true skilled tradesmen.
"

"They started at 7 am in the morning and finished at 9:30 am, so my job was not effected. They climbed in the attic to secure the cabinet to the rafter, found what the problem was and fixed it. Even fixed the hole when they got turned around. They were more worried about dragging dirt in than I was. Did a fine job of cleaning their mess up."

"Everything went well. They came, installed the carpet and the job was finished in around 2 hours. The guys were professional and would definitely recommend them. Price was under the price from Lowe's. Through the home remodeling we tried to use Lowe's & Home Depot.
"
