"We were building a home and Kayco installed the roof. Looked good at first till first light when we were shocked from the wrinkles all over. Kayco was immediately notified within two days after install, since install was a Saturday. He proceeded to argue it wasn't his fault. I told him his supervisor was well aware of our concerns and chose to proceed. He did not care! I asked about warranty. Still no resolution. We entered rainy season and various other problems arose. Much too lengthy to get into here. We hired a professional inspector to which we found many more issues. The Kayco company also refused to pay their supplier and they placed a lien on our property, which they had every right, so we paid that. It was a lot of stress to endure from, in my opinion, a company that had no regard to owning up to its responsibilities. We will have no choice but to have the court systems resolve the matter. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!! Beware!!!!!"

The installers arrived early and immediately began work. Any questions I had as they worked were answered. They let me know exactly what they were doing if I asked. they finished the roof in a day and they cleaned up the site by the next day. "Hi, this has been escalated to Daniel Ortiz Insurance company vendor for residential low slope manufactured home hurricane related re-roof . Strongly pushed to Flintastic 2 ply on bare wood to replace shingles. Installed without rollers. Ceiling leak related to installation, so crew cut membranes and did a terrible patch. Ceiling was opened, and replacement insulation was 50% R rating of the debris insulation. Tar type residue in various places on white roof and a stone walkway. Rolls, ripples, bubbles, and ridges on cap. Permit was pulled for a completely different job, and job was called "finished" based on the unrelated inspections. The company manager stated the product was warranted to 120mph (it's 54mph). The product warranty was also shorter than represented and might be void based on the fsilure to follow installation instructions."

"If you're looking for a roofing company that fails to start on your roof when they say they will (multiple times), doesn't have the professionalism/courtesy to then give you a simple follow-up phone call to reschedule/keep you updated, one that has almost non-existent communication as they don't respond to voicemail, email, or messages left with the office secretary, one that you have to file a complaint with the Florida DBPR, BBB and threaten with a lawsuit just to get your deposit back almost 8 months later.
