"We chose the UV refinish product because the time without a shower was extremely less than the couple of days with the regular product. A member of Tom's staff arrived on time to clean the tub, and Tom arrived later to apply the finish. Tom also changed our drain and drain stopper without charge. Approximately, 3 months later large portions of the finish began to chip off the tub, exposing the original green underneath. I called Tom right away. I did not hear back for 2 weeks despite repeated phone calls. Tom eventually called back and apologized, explaining that he had been ill. He came out and fixed the chips, as well as some caused by our cat, without charge. He told me that the product he had used had some complaints with problems similar to mine. In another approximately 3 months, we had another huge chip around our drain. Tom came out right away with the intention of patching the tub again. Upon examining the tub, he offered to replace the finish with the normal coating and told me that he has discontinued using the UV product. It's been almost 3 months and there is no sign of chipping or cracking. I was very pleased that I did not have to argue or convince Tom to come out either time, and was especially glad that he was the one to offer to replace the finish. While not satisfied with the original coating, I am extremely satisfied with Tom's level of professionalism and service."
