"JCJ Builders was a great company to work with and they produced a beautiful kitchen in my 1920s home. Jeff Jones was professional and thorough. He had a very detailed approach to our remodel. Every step was carefully planned and executed. He kept to the time lines established and managed all of his trades well. The job site was left clean at the end of every day. We received daily updates on the progress and were contacted immediately when decisions needed to be made. Jeff listened to what we wanted and advised us on the best products and finishes for our project. He also worked to keep us comfortable and safe in our home during the renovation by setting up a temporary kitchen for us to use and mandating procedures for workers necessary during the pandemic. The quality of work was excellent and we appreciated the time and effort spent to preserve and enhance the 1920s charm of our home. We are 100% satisfied with the finished project which included an entirely brand new kitchen, removal of a wall, refinishing all of the floors and painting all of walls and wood trim on the first floor, refacing the fireplace and installing new patio doors as well as a new hot water heater. "Read reviews on Angies List and called him for the above jobs.  He came out Friday and gave me an estimate which included all parts (I had a new mailbox, but not the post or concrete ) and labor.  Said he would be here between 8-8:30 A. M  on Monday.  He arrived at 8:10 and installed a new fan motor in  my bathroom exhaust fan (saving me $88-the cost of a replacement fan).  Then his helper came and took out the old mailbox & dug the hole and set the post for the new one.  Then they were both on the roof repairing our gutter/downspouts.  They then came inside and removed my bannister railing.  He patched the holes while the other man installed the new mailbox.  They then drilled and positioned the bannister into the actual wall studs, added two new brackets, After the bannister was reattached he went to the store with a sample of the paint and came back and painted the patched holes in the stairwell.  We have a 160 year old house with plaster walls and 11 foot ceilings and repairs are seldom simple. There are 18 steep steps in the stairway so its a long railing.  Bob was great....they were cleaned up and gone by 12:30 or so.  Everything went smooth...they are clean, neat, and know what they are doing.  I would hire him again without hesitation,  In fact I plan to do just that when I have another short list of things to do."

"My wife and I are licensed architects and very particular and demanding of our contractors. Bob explained the technology of his products and took the time to listen and understand the job. He was flexible and able to use the particular shingle we wanted which wasn't his preferred brand. We also replaced a flat roofed porch and, on the week of the job, we asked that he install a roll roofing material that closely matched the roof shingles' color. He quickly located that particular material which was not at his usual supplier. Most contractors would not have catered to their clients as he did. His workers showed up when they said and were neat and courteous. The flat roof took much longer than expected due to the difficulty of removing the railing, but they didn't charge more. The roofs look great and we are glad to have chosen Northeast Ohio Renovations."
