"Mike and his team did an AMAZING job replacing my roof with a cool roof, backed by the Golden Pledge Warranty. I wanted an energy efficient roof to not only cut my AC bills, but to also use YGRENE to fully cover the cost and not pay a dime out of my pocket for this job. I had 6 different companies come out and quote me on a cool roof, and Sequoia Roofing was the first bid and ultimately the one we chose. Mike, the owner, was very down to earth, incredibly knowledgeable, and is the only one to offer the Golden Pledge Warranty. This warranty covers not only the materials (like most warranties do), but also the labor. In other words, the labor is backed by GAF (shingle company)...if something happens to Mike's business, the labor is still covered! No other contractor could offer me this warranty, as there is just a few certified contractors around who can! Knowing the huge investment of replacing my roof, I wanted to ensure I will never have to do it again! The best part was that his price was the same or even lower than the other 5 companies I had quote me. "I dealt with Leon De Anda for my roof work. Leon was honest and professional and very informative about what could be done with my roof. He offered me a few options and also asked me if there were anything specific I wanted done. I basically described what I wanted and he curtailed his bid to what I was looking for at the best price. I liked the fact that he was honest and straight forward without playing any games or try and screw me over. In the end, I decided to get a whole new roof, down to even getting all new plywood. The men who came to work on the roof were competent and professional. They went to great lengths to only bother me when it was necessary. Everyday they made a mess but at the end of the day they would always clean it up. I thought they were very professional. Leon was not at my house everyday but he was always just a phone call away. He was very accessible. Once the work was completed, Leon and myself walked around the property and inspected the work. He made sure that I was completed satisfied before everything was finalized. "We had a leak around the chimney area of our roof. Rick initially diagnosed the leak as from old flashing in need of replacing. Was quoted $1250 for the repair. They had their guys come out promptly and replace the flashing all around the base of the chimney where it meets the roof. Doing a nice clean job. However, upon the next rain event that we had (about 1 week later), the leak was still vey apparent. Rick came back out to look at it again, and realized that he had mis-diagnosed the problem, and that the leak was actually coming from another area where the fascia board on the side of the roof penetrates the chimney stack. He was very apologetic and reduced the amount that I owed him for the repair by 50%. He then referred me to a stucco contractor to correct the actual problem. He was very honest, and I appreciate his being willing to work with us. To be honest the flashing probably needed to be replaced anyway in my 30 year old house."

"Magdelano and his crew were some of the most professional installers I have ever hired. He was there everyday to supervise the work being preformed. Taking off an old roof and installing a new one is a messy business. Valley Oaks Roofing & Repairs did an incredible job cleaning up each and every day. Not a nail or staple to be found on the ground. Value-wise I think Magdelano and his crew do a great job at a very reasonable price point. Our entire roof was removed and replaced within a week, including painting and replacing hundreds of feet of facia that contained dry rot. "They were on time and went to work right away. Very friendly hard workers.. They were all done by the end of the first day. I had four groups to chose from, the first one so expensive, I new I had to keep looking, the next had a few reasons why they were unable to keep the appointment, Then came Zenith Roofing, Brian was the only one who wanted me to check out my homeowners insurance first. I found out that the repair would be covered.. Brian gave me the repair cost, well within range. Then I asked what would it be to replace the whole roof? "I requested roof quotes from Yelp, HomeAdvisor, and BBB. 5 companies reached out to schedule times to meet. 3 called me and used google maps to give me a quote (you canâ t develop a relationship with a customer over the phone, I am old school in that to foster a relationship with a customer you need to have that contact with a customer. I know we are in a time that contact is not something that is encouraged, but being outside, with masks and staying 6 feet away, you can still develop that relationship), 1 never called me back. Only ONE company actually made the effort to come to my home, fly a drone over my home for custom photos and that Rigo from Roof Masters. Rigo was so patient as I asked all my questions, believe me there was a lot. He stepped me through what the process would be and sent me a quote that evening. I needed to have my solar company out to take down the solar panels before they could start on the roof, I got the date from the solar company to come out and take down the panels and Rigo was able to start the next day. Everything just sort of fell into place. Everyone in the office that I had communication with from Claudia to Gaby were just so nice and accommodating, they worked around my schedule instead of the other way around. I donâ t believe I ever had to call, they were in constant contact with me. On the start date Rene the Forman and his crew showed up, they worked fast and efficiently, they were always considerate of the other people in my cul-de-sac with their vehicles, they even worked on Sunday. If I had any questions Rene always took a moment to answer any questions I had or my husband had, my husband likes to get involved and they were patient while he asked his questions. They cleaned up every day before they left the house, picking up nails, pieces of old roof tiles, debris from the front, side and back yard. They left the way they found the yard each day they came. I just canâ t say enough how pleasant this experience was, I was so nervous about replacing my roof, I was nervous because I didnâ t know anything about the process or what to expect. But Roof Masters took my hand and walked me through everything, slowly, patiently and took care of us. When the job was done the crew took great pains to make sure nails or any metal objects were picked up by taking a magnet on a stick around the yard, we have four little fur babies and they took great care that they would be ok after the job was done.
