"We had used Bill's services before. He put a retaining wall up for us and we were pleased with his workmanship and attention to detail. We had asked for 3 bids from 3 different people for the job to remove the old cement sidewalk, create a new paver (or cement) sidewalk, fix the ruts in our front yard and remove the stone slurry from our front yard from the well drilling done in November. Bill is an excellent worker and his bid was the lowest plus he could do all aspects of the work we needed to have done. From start to finish, it took 2 days! He and his crew were neat and considerate. Being a civil engineer, he gave us insight as to the layout of our yard and how he could level out the high areas and add to the low areas. He is a good communicator and we will recommend and use his services in the future!"

"I can't say enough good things about Earthtones Hardscape. Jeff gave us a quote for cleaning and sealing our paver patio. He kept in constant communication as to when our job was scheduled and when his workers would arrive. They showed up on time and stayed late until our job was finished. They leveled several pavers, removed stains and sealed the pavers. They protected our sliders from the spray, hosed them off, and even moved our patio furniture. I was impressed with their attention to detail. They made sure that we were completely satisfied before they left. They went above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend Earthtones Hardscape for all your Hardscape needs."

"For the past 5 years, we have hired Schultz's Landscaping for our annual spring clean-up, trimming of shrubs, edging, and applying the mulch we supply as they always provide excellent service. This particular year, the service was more than excellent, it went well beyond our expectations. What a wonderful job!! Not only were all requested services completed, but much attention was paid to detail. Prior to our annual landscaping being completed, we always try to weed our beds, trim spent flowers, etc. This year we kind of ran out of steam and only partially completed this task. When we arrived home after the job was completed, not only were we impressed with the great product we received, we noticed the men actually trimmed some spent daffodils and tulips and pulled some weeds in our beds that we did not have time to address ourselves. This is why we will continue to employ Schultz's Landscaping and will highly recommend them. It is so rare these days to find a company that actually will go the extra mile for a customer, what a breath of fresh air. Thank you Schultz's Landscaping for another job well done!!!!! <br />"

"Mark Pawling and his crew recently installed stone veneer on our home and did an exceptional job! My husband and I witnessed Mark's hard-working team for two weeks and saw firsthand how skilled they are at their trade and conscientious, too. We also appreciated how accommodating they were when we had suggestions throughout the project. Great job guys!!! We couldn't be happier with the results. Many thanks."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Enola, PA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
