"Electrical in an older home can be complicated. We had several people give outrageous estimates or never show up to do the work. Stapleford electric was prompt in providing an estimate and completed the work with quality. The cost for installing a new outlet and bracing for a large, heavy chandelier was fixed cost and other work was a time and materials rate. Both were reasonable and they knew what they were doing with the old style wiring. We had an additional expense to get plaster repaired separately but that would have been the case no matter who did the electrical work - they referred us to a master plasterer which was great. I have no reservations to recommend or use Stapleford again."

The bad- over the call, Sumit pushed hard on how complicated the project is and that it takes several hours to justify the $2200 quote to install transfer case ($300) for portable generator. Sumit told the generator has to a placed 20 ft from the house but didnt bring the cord for it. Sumit and another guy finished the job under 2 hours, while I had to go shop for a 25ft cord for the generator inlet. The hole made in the cinder block was not caulked from inside the house. The nail in the coffin was when I started getting quotes after the job for 1275 including the hardware"
