Small jobs welcome

"He was friendly and right on time. He explained what was needed and we scheduled an appointment with him. He called prior to the appointment to confirm and he showed up exactly on time. A rarity in South Florida. he did an amazing job and cleaned up as if he wasn't even there. I would gladly recommend him to anyone who needs repairs on their fence"

"Kamal at Florida Welding was very helpful in explaining the work and making sure it met our needs. He was more than a welder, he is an artist working with metal. The workmanship and quality of materials were above average and he strived to maintain the historical aspect of the job. Overall the job was excellent and would highly recommend him."

"Howard did a fantastic job installing the new railings for our veranda. 53’ of railings needed to be installed. If not for all the rain, with lightning and thunder, it would have taken 4-5 hours to complete. Instead, it took over the course of 2 days to complete. Howard will definitely be the first to call with any future jobs. My wife and I both highly recommend him. He is also quite personable and very easy with whom to speak. "

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Fort Lauderdale, FL

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
