Once we settled on Baumann's Landscaping as our contractor, we called Rick and the crew were out the next morning promptly at 9am. We were expecting two days of work to clear the brush, but they completed the job in 4 hours. The crew went above and beyond, killing vines choking our trees, mulching all the deadfall, and pushing the brush line all the way back beyond the trees (we live on Maryland wetlands). "Ricky provided mowing and edging for me for 8 years. Originally, I relied upon him for mowing and edging a large tree-filled lot in Springfield. For the past 5 years, he has, also, provided regular gardener services, has removed 8 dead trees and ground out stumps, provides winter clean up to include removing mountains of leaves, spring cleanup of flower beds and lawn, spring mulching, shrub pruning, and sprinkler system maintenance. Recently, he redesigned my back yard and reworked the flagstone around my flower beds. My yard always looks fantastic. "We've been using 2nd Nature consistently for a year and our lawn has never looked better. I highly recommend them. They're always on time, give us useful advice to keep our yard looking great, and get the job done quickly and correctly. We first hired 2nd Nature in 2019 to put down sod and help us get grass to grow on our lawn. We've tried for years to get grass to grow on our own, but the grass was just dirt by the 4th of July every year. 2nd Nature recommended sod and routine care. They came consistently throughout the summer to care for the yard and landscaping (help us with the plants and weeds as well as the grass) and for the first time since we bought our house in 2007... We had grass all summer and fall last year! In the fall, they seeded again, and as of spring 2020 we now have thick, healthy grass and plants. "ImageWorks did a fantastic job of fixing a water drainage problem in my backyard this past summer. I appreciate the quality of work delivered and the teamâ s professionalism. It is worth taking a moment to note that I received a few other proposals outlining a significantly larger scope of work to correct a water drainage problem that was causing my basement to flood. These other work proposals entailed extensive (and expensive) patio redesign and infrastructure work. I initially challenged the ImageWorks proposal, suggesting that the smaller project scope might not prevent future flooding. However, John with ImageWorks provided me with a detailed explanation of why his work proposal, priced at less than half the cost of the others, would effectively redirect water away from the house. A few heavy rains have demonstrated that Johnâ s design was absolutely correct. In addition, when the crew that performed the work in the backyard recognized that one step listed in the work proposal was not necessary, they took the initiative to inform John. This resulted in an $800 savings on the project. The crew was very friendly and left the project site tidy.
