"I hired Baumann's Lawn and Landscape to fix my front lawn. The soil was mostly clay and sand and covered in weeds. They killed and removed all the vegetation, tilled the soil, brought in new topsoil, conditioned/fertilized, and then laid sod. The crew was fast, efficient, polite, and did an amazing job (hopefully this site allows me to upload photos after writing this). The work was done in 3 separate days and took less than 2 weeks from the initial phone call to the finished installation. The price is what you would expect for this level of work and that much sod (sod is not cheap). They're not over-priced but it's not Bob's discount landscaping either. You'll get your money's worth for your project. Baumann's will be my #1 choice for future landscape projects."

"After having a large section of my yard regraded with fresh soil and seed, I requested that area not be cut while allowing grass to grow. However the rest of my front and back yard needed regular mowing and trimming. Gregorio was handling my yard was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice how best to handle this. Once grass was growing in the new areas he cut at a taller height until it was thick enough to be cut at the same height as the rest of the yard. His weekly mowing and trimming with specific care was great."

"Ricky provided mowing and edging for me for 8 years. Originally, I relied upon him for mowing and edging a large tree-filled lot in Springfield. For the past 5 years, he has, also, provided regular gardener services, has removed 8 dead trees and ground out stumps, provides winter clean up to include removing mountains of leaves, spring cleanup of flower beds and lawn, spring mulching, shrub pruning, and sprinkler system maintenance. Recently, he redesigned my back yard and reworked the flagstone around my flower beds. My yard always looks fantastic. "We've been using 2nd Nature consistently for a year and our lawn has never looked better. I highly recommend them. They're always on time, give us useful advice to keep our yard looking great, and get the job done quickly and correctly. We first hired 2nd Nature in 2019 to put down sod and help us get grass to grow on our lawn. We've tried for years to get grass to grow on our own, but the grass was just dirt by the 4th of July every year. 2nd Nature recommended sod and routine care. They came consistently throughout the summer to care for the yard and landscaping (help us with the plants and weeds as well as the grass) and for the first time since we bought our house in 2007... We had grass all summer and fall last year! In the fall, they seeded again, and as of spring 2020 we now have thick, healthy grass and plants.
