"Mark came out to look at the area in question. He made some recommendations for size and design to match the style and look of the house. He sketched out the patio dimensions and provided a price. I hired them and they came to perform the work as scheduled."

"Contacted Dan and he responded back that day. The next day, he came out to give an estimate and we signed the contract. The week after, his crew efficiently repaired the masonry work on our front porch patio. He was very responsive, gave great advice and we are very satisfied with the work."

"The design turned out great, matches my back yard and house (house and yard are in typical late 90's early 2000's subdivision with vinyl sided houses). The installation was completed quickly and was high quality. The crews straightened up each day they left and did a full cleanup upon completion of project. Had more in the design than I was able to implement this year. I will be doing some of it myself this fall and will be calling Bay Landscaping back to complete more next year. I have been told that they are on the high side for pricing but it was worth every penny to me."

"Very pleased with the work that H&M did in our front yard. Again, the crew was professional and they were in and out in one day. I would definitely recommend H&M in the future to anyone looking to get landscaping done."

"We signed the work order for the work to be done. Everyone from the sales staff to the builders were very friendly and helpful. <br /> They made arrangements with the township zoning office for approval and the utility company to mark underground lines. <br /> In one days time they set the supports, floor, walls, windows and roof. All professionally done. <br /> An A+ rating in my book. <br />"

"If A+ was an option, I would have selected it. The work completed was beautiful and very professional. The crew only stopped long enough for a lunch break. Even our next door neighbor (who keeps an eye on everything!!) commented on how hard they worked. We have other neighbors stopping over to comment on how beautiful everything is. Would definitely use them again."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Fairgrove, MI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
