"It was early to mid-afternoon, I had turned the water main off so was without water, had localized where the problem was and even had parts - I just needed help. Going down Angie's List, I called several plumbers in the area, left messages with some (which, to date, were never returned) and others told me it would be 'the next afternoon.' I then called Moretto's. I again explained the situation (I'm sure by this point I was sounding pretty frantic and down-beaten) and Jack said 'we're on our way.' They arrived in 90 minutes and had rescheduled the remainder of their day's 'non-critical' jobs to come fix my issue so I wouldn't be left without water! As it turned out, I did not have all the parts necessary, and they didn't have what they needed with them. They went to our local hardware store, were back with everything required and had the leak completely repaired in good time. They even, upon my request, checked the rest of the exposed plumbing for leaks and stressed that I call them if I ever needed any other plumbing assistance. The bill was extraordinarily reasonable, they were very professional, and I felt confident in their work. I'll most definitely be calling them again."

"Had to start with Watersmith partially into the season since my last outdoor company couldn't respond in a reasonable amount of time. I needed some sprayer heads added and changed as well as the backflow test done and results forwarded to the city before starting the season. Watersmith has two departments (Irrigation and Lawn) but a single office team that you can reach on the phone, M-F. They will set appointments and relay information to the appropriate team. And also handle billing. Services cost slightly more than my last company I had but having a live person/s in the office during the work week is worth it. On this Labor Day w/e I discovered I was leaking water up through my front lawn and gave them a call and after pressing #2 got an on-call tech who came over within a hour and shut the water off till they reopen the following week. Was very pleased with that response! While I did not signup for the pre-pay plan this year (only 5% discount) they spelled out what the remaining treatments will cost as well as the sprinkler blowout this fall. I also want to see the results before committing long term."

"I found Bruce Bush (owner) through the internet. He came out the day after I called and we started the process of designing a landscape for my severely neglected backyard. I was looking for someone that had extensive knowledge of plants, trees, etc and could lead me to a completely re-landscaped backyard retreat. I was also looking for someone that would stand behind their work and would offer a warranty on the landscaping. Bruce (and his great crew) were up to the task. <br /> What started out as an estimate for just a few flower beds turned into a complete backyard makeover. Bruce suggested many trees and plants that I'd never heard of before. He'd email me pictures (and designs) of various trees and shrubs. We also met numerous times at the nursery that he uses to look at different tree/shrubs and oftentimes found something new that we liked. This was a large project consisting of multiple Japanese Maples and other ornamental trees, dozens of azaleas, ferns, hostas, and many more plants too numerous to mention. All beds were first prepped by turning over the dirt and adding bags of Back to Nature amendments to the soil. Over the course of several weeks, the plants arrived and were installed. Finally, all of the flower beds were mulched with pine bark mulch to give it a finished look. The flower beds couldn't look better! <br /> Once the flower beds were installed, it was time to replace the grass with new Fescue sod. The old grass was removed. The yard was tilled and amendments added to the soil. The new sod was laid and the final backyard makeover looks amazing! <br /> Towards the end of the project, I told Bruce that I was thinking about building a stone grill station on the side of my patio. I asked him if he knew of any stone masons that he could recommend that do quality work. He said his guys could build one for me. I was a little nervous, since I knew that his guys, while great at landscaping, weren't stone masons and I was interested in getting a quality job. Well, quality is what I got. They spent over a week building what turned out to be a beautiful, one-of-a-kind, custom stone grill station with a really cool water feature that flows from within the grill station out the side. The stone work turned out perfect. <br /> A couple other points. A few of the plants/shrubs didn't make it through the very hot last weeks of August. I told Bruce about them. He came out, looked at the plants and replaced them. No charge. Can't beat that! Finally, Bruce installed some professional-grade landscape lighting. This isn't your typical Lowes lighting and is expensive, but it comes with a lifetime warranty and the night-time look is impressive. <br /> I believe I have found the one landscaping company that I will used from now on. After a couple of failed landscaping attempts with other companies (yes, I've written reviews), I think I've found the best. I'm more than happy to recommend Bruce Bush, his crew, and Tallgrass Landscaping for any landscaping needs. <br /> <br /> <br />"
