"Superbly. They did a great job with trimming our large maple trees, removing dead trees, and applying treatment for Spotted Lantern Flies. Highly recommended!"

"Sam's team and their work was the best we've encountered so far for tree removal. We have a wooded property and several ash trees were dead, requiring removal to ensure no damage to our house. Sam was quick to respond, provide an estimate, and schedule the work. The team did everything for which we contracted and when done, the property appeared as if they had never been there (except for the trees being gone, and the wood chips left exactly where we ask them to be). We plan to use C&S for all our future tree removal needs."

"Guacamaya helped us remove a significant number of trees from our property, many of which were either large, in precarious locations (hanging over the pool, up against the house/deck, etc), or both! They were extremely responsive and helpful at the onset and came right out when we were first taking bids. Additionally, they gave us a better price and even removed an additional couple of trees than the nearest competitor would have. We will absolutely be calling them again for future tree removal projects (and probably much more as they provide a number of other services!)."

"We had a very large pin oak that needed to be removed asap. Miles came out and provided an estimate almost immediately and was able to squeeze us into his schedule due to a cancellation. His crew was incredibly efficient and took down the oak with no problems. They even had time to trim several oak trees in the front and provided us with a truck load of mulch for us to use for ground cover on the trails behind our house. His prices were reasonable and was great to work with. I highly recommend using them for any tree services and/or stump removal"

"Trevor and Jeff were extremely efficient and hard workers. One of the log splitters malfunctioned on the first day, and they still completed as much as they could on the first day, and completed the job on the second day, no extra travel fee etc... Everything was left perfect and I didn't have to do a thing. I would definitely hire them again in the future if we take down more trees."

"Adam came to the house gave the estimate and also an estimated time for the work to be completed. He kept in touch with us from our first meeting until the day the tree was to be removed. Adam and his crew showed up exactly as promised. Adam explained the process from start to finish. He is a wonderful representative for this company. You would never know a tree was ever there nor would you know it had just been removed due to the fantastic clean up. What a professional crew!"

"Miguel is very professional and reliable contractor. He stopped by the same very day I contacted him and provided a competitive estimate. He also gave some valuable advice related to improving overall landscaping I haven’t even thought of. As a result, I hired his crew to remove a large tree and do some additional landscaping work around my property. All worked was performed exactly when and how was promised."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Fairview Village, PA

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
