"We have had two bathrooms remodeled by Matthew Ray Homes and are extremely pleased with the results. We had a smaller bath done first and were so satisfied with the results that we had no hesitations to have Matt block out time in his schedule to have the more complex Master Bathroom remodeled six month later. Matt and his crew proved to be very easy to work with and very competent in the trades they performed. The quality of the work is excellent. While we had a reasonable plan as to what we wanted to have done in both bathrooms to modernize and update them, Matt provided useful suggestions that helped us fine tune the final design in a form constructable for Matt and appealing to us. Having the expectations of what the final product should look and function like prior to any demo work proved beneficial to both Matt and to us. Matt was very helpful in recommending products to be used and assisted in obtaining those we had difficulty in providing. The crews that Matt utilized, whether it be his own people or subcontractors, were wonderful to work with. They were friendly, skilled at their trade, and conscientious to do the job correctly. They all made sure of what we wanted before starting their work, asked questions to confirm what was to be done, identified any issues as they became aware of them, offered solutions as needed, considered our input, cleaned up the job site each day, and checked to make sure we were satisfied with the work up to that point. "Excellent work! We hired Randy to rehab our old mobile home so my elderly mother could live in it as her own home. Work included replacing windows, flooring, hot water heater, replacing thermostat, etc. The trailer was gutted and new plumbing and reinforced flooring was needed, drywall, new faucets in bathroom and kitchen. New shower was installed, new flooring and drywall was installed throughout. In addition, new kitchen cabinets were installed as well. This was a floor to ceiling, wall to wall renovation basically rebuilding the entire trailer. We are so happy and appreciate all the details Randy handled to make this trailer a home. The workmanship was excellent and top notch! We would recommend Top Shelf Handyman to everyone! "Concrete pool deck was pressure cleaned. CV then stained the existing flagstone appearance deck using five different colored stains. Two coats of sealer was then applied to deck. Deck is even prettier the second time then the original installation by the pool installers!"

"<p>The job was done by only one person, Victor.  He was very prompt and liked to start early in the morning (7:15).  He was courteous and very good at explaining the process.  He showed us pictures and samples of the paint colors and stamps so we would know what it looked like when it was done. All-in-all he did a good job. I'm an engineer so to my fault, there were some area I believe could have been done a little better.  Being in Florida, and it being July, it was quite hot.  So he could only apply about a 8-10 sq. ft. area of concrete overlay at a time because he had to stamp it with the pattern before the concrete started to solidify. As a result, the transition areas where each application of the concrete overlay meet with the previous one, did not turn out as smooth and transparent as I would have liked. When I mentioned this, he did make an effort to sand any rough transition area down but buy this time the overlay was hard and difficult to work with.  This was only in two area.  the reminder of the deck and patio was fine.  Again, my wife is thrilled about the new look.  We have grand kids over constantly and the overlay surface paint is a non-skid type of texture so this will prevent slipping.
