"Got three bids from local concrete people. Unique concrete was very competitive on pricing and was very good with following up. There was a small snafu when they cancelled a day before the first scheduled work day, but Ignacio explained the mix up and made sure we would be taken care of. Workday the workers showed up early. Ignacio was there to make sure all went well. Workers were polite and efficient. Cleaned up afterwards. We had one small area that needed follow up and Ignacio was very responsive and had someone over the next morning to fix it. Our project was small, and most places weren't interested or wanted ridiculous fees. Unique Concrete explained there wasn't much money to be made here but they were doing this as a courtesy to build good relations for future work or referrals. We will definitely work with them again. Ignacio was great."

"I would give them 10 stars if I could. Angel and his team are my concrete guys for life now. He built a complex 7 ft retaining wall, foundation, built 2 rockline swales, repaired street apron that was cracked and built deck stair piers on a slope and with bedrock drilldowns while undergoing geotech inspections - all work passed with County and geotechnical inspectors in our unusual conditions. I couldn't be happier. Angel and his team are now my trusted partners. Angel caught 2 discrepancies on our engineered plans and because of his attention to detail we were able to get them resolved without big delays. He saved us many times during my project. Angel and his workers are absolutely the hardest working people sometimes doing hand concrete work and many loads of wheel barreling that other contractors wouldn't do."

"I highly recommend Sunset Concrete. Marc knows what he is talking about and how to work with the city. When Marc gave me the estimate, he was able to explain what the notice from the city meant as well as how to talk to the inspector about some work that the city wanted me to do that he thought was unecessary. With this knowledge, I was able to get the city to amend the permit and bring the cost of the work down. Marc's guys did the work efficiently and well. My sidewalk looks better than the sidewalks in front of other houses. The overall cost was also less than what the city wanted to charge me to do the replacement and less than all the other estimates I received. <br /> Marc is a little slow at returning phone calls but his price is the best and the work is great, so having a little patience for him to get back to you (which he always does) is well worth it. <br />"

I Contacted Mike and he came out to my property to see the job site and discuss what I wanted (a large circular pad to accommodate a heavy water storage tank.. He provided his thoughts on the project and then an estimate to get the job done. Based upon my friends review and what I saw in other reviews, I accepted Mike's estimate and hired him to do the job. He gave me a date and time that the 2-day job would begin. He arrived on-time as did his workers. Mike did some necessary tractor work clearing and leveling the area, his crew set about making forms and creating rebar framework. The following day Mike and his team arrived promptly and began the pour and then finishing work. I couldn't be happier with the results and the experience of working with Mike and his crew was enjoyable. Very nice, honest and hard working people. The job site was thoroughly cleaned up before his departure. I highly recommend Michael Crum Concrete."
